Quality All Across the Board
This game is excellent. Where to begin.Just picking up the box you can tell the quality. It is HEAVY! The components in this game are great. The construction of the board is one of the best I have ever seen. It is thick, has sturdy folds, large (easy for people to crowd around), and has some nice visuals which are important for children to use if they cannot read yet so trying to complete a ticket is able to be done by a younger child. The plastic train pieces are detailed, and the game comes with extras just in case (with kids you are bound to lose some.....possibly even to them playing with the nice pieces outside of using them for the game because they are that nice) and each color comes with its own zip-lock baggie. The card are thick, appealing, and high quality with a nice sheen, and the organizer in the box fits everything perfectly. The game play is simple yet competitive, where you need to strategize and possibly try to block your opponents ability to create a route to complete tickets (the objective of the game) if you can figure out their goals. This game can be played on so many levels, even as a quick game with adults (if you want to have more competition, you can play with a modified rule set which is awesome. You can basically use the "express" version rules to increase difficulty so the game can grow with the children's ability to provide years of entertainment!) Younger children can even play it and be competitive against adults as well because the game has an intuitive rule set. This game is a win on so many different levels that I wish other games were made and designed as well as this.

Fun game for both children and adults
Our family really like this children’s version. It’s something both the adults and children under 8 can enjoy. Even though the kids might not be able to read the names of the cities, they can look at the pictures of the cities and know where their ticket takes them. This game is also quick to play, so that’s a plus.

This game is a great entry point into boardgaming, while still being fun for adults!
I purchased this a while back as a gift for my 5-year-old daughter, and we have played at LEAST one game every day for the past month. It's got a great balance that helps support learning for younger ones, but it can still be just as competitive for adults playing along as well. After a few rounds with help from the adults, my daughter now plays on her own and can be competitive. After I stopped 'letting' her win occasionally and she still beats me, it's cool to watch the growth of her logic, reasoning, and planning skills. Lastly, the theme is awesome for halloween fans. My wife and I are fans of the original TTR given its ease to pick-up-and-play when compared to some of our other games. We are excited for the journey of progression of the little one as she joins us to learn and play together.

Ticket To Ride First Journey Ghost Halloween
Great value for money. Age range 6 and older can play. Very colourful board and pieces. The board is smaller than the standard Ticket to Ride games. Directions are similar as you build routes along routes across the board. There is no points in scoring in this game. We played it twice before we completely understood all the playing directions we can teach it to others. We like you use routes going both directions and if you can't make a route you throw it out and draw another one. We aren't sure how successful it will be for four people to play and achieve the needed six routes to win. Will update after we game night. Overall it was a fun game and we look forward to sharing it with friends.

Winner of a game gift!
We just played multiple games with 4 adults and a child of 6 years old. This game is quick and short filler type game. This meant the child was not board and was interested in playing again and again! The adults also enjoyed it, as it is simply a mini Ticket to Ride game! The illustrations and city names were bold and easy to read. They removed the scoring track, so the scoring goal was simple! (Either be the first to complete 6 tickets OR when a player places their last train, that ends the game and the player with the most completed tickets win)Highly Recommend this game!
