Was just the length I was looking for

Okay, so people said in other reviews that these spoons were big, but, they are even bigger than I expected. I have not had them long, but i would think from their feel that they will last a long time. What I can tell you is that I used this spoon when making some apple jelly - and boy! I felt like I was using a boat paddle in there. That isn't a bad thing, just sayin. It cleaned up nicely afterwards too. My only complaint I guess is that these are too big to get into jars. I guess I am used to the skinny spoons. But they are smooth and the handle is nice and big for a comfortable grip.

While they seem a bit light in the hand, it is very durable and I love the length of the handle. It’s great with tall/large pots. Pretty much my go-to stir spoon for lots of cooking tasks. I had a previous one for many years until it finally developed a small line crack so I decided to replace with these and they are identical to my previous one I loved. The length is exactly what I was looking for.

I looked a long time to find the exact same one I had gotten in a store years ago I found it on Amazon I was very happy I ordered it that was the best decission I made its just like the one I have that's old and just cracked after years of use .i got 3 in the package highly recommend theses for cooking or mixing things .

They are the perfect size for cooking and stirring. I had one the same size for many years I was dependent on until I accidentally charred the handle when it rolled onto a burner. I searched and searched, but couldn't find another like it, until I discovered these on Amazon which are virtually identical. Couldn't be more pleased!

I needed a long spoon for stirring bubbling caramel so that I wouldn’t get burned. It’s nice and long and sturdy.

Useful but stains easily and difficult to clean off. Haven't had it long enough to talk about splinters.

What makes a wooden spoon special? Nothing, after all, it's just a wooden spoon. This is one of the better ones out there. I am happy with it. It is holding up well. I purchased it because wooden spoons of this length are hard to find in the brick-and-mortar world of shopping.
