As good as Derwent
These blender pencils compare well with Derwent's, the latter having been my favourite for several years. However, my last few purchases of Derwent have been contaminated in the manufacturing process with what appears to be black pigment which transfers when in use - a quality control issue I suspect. You might not notice this on dark colours, but it really spoils lighter colours.I've bought just about every other make of blender pencil I could find, and the only one which compares favourably to Derwent is this Pasler blender pencil. I mostly use Caran d'Ache Luminance, Holbein, Derwent Lightfast and a few Derwent Drawing pencils and I find the Pasler works well with all of these. I'm reluctant to buy Derwent again in case the problem persists, so it looks like Pasler has become my new favourite!

Blends gaps where pencil crayon has been applied badly
These are straight forward plain wax/oil pencils that pick up the colour and blend it in where gaps seem present. It also blends/merges multiple colors together. To confirm my pencils for those reading my review.I used DecoTime premium pencils crayons (non watercolour) to colour the picture as shown in my picture.

Chalky
They don't really work and just leave a thick white chalk over my drawings, they don't blend they just dull the colours down. Not impressed really
