Works great if you use it correctly!
I had some trial and error with this thing, through no fault of it's own.Context:I did some research and the very helpful youtube channel Green Akers Pest Control pointed out that heat is not a cure-all. Only chemicals are going to keep bedbugs at bay because they can live in your walls. Nothing is going to get in there to all of them and they'll come back unless you kill every single one of them. So, the best solution is to use a chemical like Crossfire so they walk across its residue and die. However, I rent and couldn't stand the thought of them possibly somehow surviving in (or one getting back onto) my mattress, moving to a new place, and having the problem start all over again. I've heard a lot of people end up throwing their mattress out. It wasn't too much more expensive to just buy this thing. So, I bought this to heat treat my mattress and bedframe and then sprayed Crossfire on my bedframe, around the edge of the mattress, and around my baseboards. I'll be using this again before I move out just in case.Using the product:Everything came looking good. Pretty easy to set up.The first trial, I strapped my mattress to a ladder to hold it vertically and put the bedframe in there. I put the temperature probe up high, not sure exactly what to do with it. I got it "up to temp" for a couple hours, using a separate temperature gun to make sure everywhere was above 120 F. Then, when I was looking around in there, I discovered the bedbugs were hiding on the floor under a part of the bedframe where there was apparently a cool spot (maybe poor circulation?).The second trial, I put everything up on pieces of wood, with a little shim under the big pieces of wood so there was as little directly touching the floor as possible. I wanted to make sure the hot air could get everywhere easily. I also put the temperature probe directly on the floor in what I thought would be the coolest part (worst circulation); the temperature up high would read 160 F+ but that doesn't matter because bedbugs will find a cool spot to survive. Make sure every inch of the chamber is above 120! (Maybe that's obvious?)It took a few hours for the temp to hit 120 at the bottom and it really creeps up slowly. I shut off the A/C vents in the room and had the doors closed. It got over 100 in the room but the rest of the house felt fine.I had already sprayed the frame and mattress multiple times while waiting for this and the Crossfire to come in and wasn't seeing a bedbug very often, but after using the heat chamber I counted eighteen dead bedbugs on the floor! It's been about a month and between this and the Crossfire I haven't seen or felt another bedbug since.

Works as expected
This is very large just as we wanted. The dr heater heaters work well. Have only been using 2 months and no issues. We have remained big free at our facility also.

Gets The Job Done
You can generally put all your clothing in a clothes dryer to kill bedbugs. However, for items that you can't put in a clothes dryer, you'll need to heat them up in a product like this. This thing takes about 30-40 minutes to set up, and then reaches the appropriate temperature for killing bedbugs in 20 minutes or so.Unfortunately, this unit doesn’t come with a thermometer for monitoring the internal temperature of the chamber during treatment. Consequently, you should be sure to purchase a thermometer so you will know for certain that the interior is reaching the required temperature to kill bedbugs. When exposed to 120 degree heat, bedbugs will die in a matter of minutes. However, bedbug eggs will take a bit longer to destroy. All in all this is a good product for ridding your items of bedbugs, and giving you a little peace of mind.If you have any questions about this bedbug heater, please feel free to ask, and I'll try my best to answer. I hope you found this review helpful.

bedbugs away
Like most:The heaters work very well even for just heating the home. They are small and stay pretty cool. There is no setting on them but they do not seem to get very hot they just keep going. The back of them stay cool. There is a on/off switch. The cover is great and durable. The zippers stick a little but still works well.Like Least:The frame, we put it up once and we had to take it down before we could use it, now it will not go back into the same position. There was no instructions.UPDATE: The cover was not as durable and did not last as long as I thought it would if you keep it up and if the wind is blowing. I love the heaters and the frame though and are actually using them still. I use two of the heaters to warm my house and they work phenominal and the frame I placed covers over it and still have it.
