Dashboard Pad Mounting Disk

The price is right; however, they did not adhere as effectively as the original that came with my cellphone holder. My original dashboard mounting pad from iottie lasted for about two+ years before it would no longer adhere to the dashboard (most likely due to the intense heat from the sun). However, an iottie replacement mounting pad was about $10 each (about 1/2 the price of a new cellphone holder). Whereas this 3-pack cost only $7. My cellphone holder adheres perfectly to the dashboard mounting pads in this 3-pack, but the adhesion on the bottom of the pads do not adhere as well to my dash (by comparison to the original iottie). I did find that they work pretty good on completely flat & horizontal surfaces, whereas I initially mounted it to a flat, but not completely horizontal surface (where I originally had my cellphone holder located). On a positive note, I was able to mount the 2nd pad on the passenger side for road tripping partners. Despite the initial hiccup with a lack of adhesion, I would recommend this product.

The only sensible place to put my dashcam suction cup was on the frits area of the windshield. Frits are the little black dots made of ceramic that partially block sunlight and surround radar units and rearview mirror mounts. A suction cup will not hold to the frits area because it is not flat. These serve as an intermediary, they adhere to the frits area and provide a surface to which a suction cup can adhere. I read some of the 3 star and less reviews and have no explanation for why these did not adhere to dashboards. The 3M company makes most industrial adhesives used in vehicles and you can't find better. In fact, as one or more people have pointed out, you may do damage trying to remove one of these once it has stuck to a surface. I tried to pull my dashcam off and neither the suction cup nor this pad would budge. It's a permanent install.

This product is a fantastic find! It's reasonably priced, making it accessible for most budgets without compromising on quality. The product is exactly as described, and its usefulness cannot be overstated. I've found it to be incredibly practical and efficient in meeting my needs. Product works great, what can I say. It's a plastic disc with tape on one side and you can mount a suction up on the other. Works exactly as intended. However, when I tried to remove the disc from the car dash, it left a lot of residue.

I got these because I needed to mount a phone mount on my dash but my dash is curved and these work exactly as advertised. No more, no less. Mine's been in use for several years now under various temperatures and it has stayed put.

These are a lot better than the ones that come with mounts. adheasion is a lot better . They are not very thick, but are very sturdy . I have replaced two of the ones that came with other mounts. These hold a lot better and the suction cup sticks better. Let them sit for twenty four hours before use. It does make a difference. Also clean the area with alcohol for a good stick. They work well if I need more I will get these again.

The adhesive is super great. It sticks really well to everything and holds things in place. That being said, the anti static sheets provided are horrendous. They fell off after about 5 minutes of my dashcam being mounted and could not come off from the adhesive, so I had to use a second pad. The adhesive is great, but stay away from those anti-static sheets

In past I used to use phone holder directly and it was leaving glue stains and mark on dahsboard. This is a very nice product no glue stain , easy to use and firm. I started using for few days and it's build quality , adhesive quality is good. It's been holding phone holder well.

Bought these at the same time as I bought a stick-on suction phone holder for the car, in case I needed to move the base, or the OEM pad that came with it gave up the ghost in the Australian sun. The one I've used has done exactly what it needed to - stick firmly to the dash and allowed the phone holder to be re-positioned - and is still going strong a year later. Does what it was bought for. Once you've tried to re-use a suction pad, you'll understand why it's a good idea to buy spares and keep them in he glovebox for the day the original one fails. Once they've come unstuck, their only real use is as garbage bin filler.
