Great value alternative to the genuine article, but thinner and made of a softer material, so I'm guessing will need replacing more often... However, the pack size and price may mean that the overall value is similar... time will tell!I do like the inclusion of sandpaper, pins and double-sided tape, a nice touch!

Very easy to fit and are okay if stretching life of your boots. However, would not fit on good pair as it does not give you the same type repair as at a shoe repair shop even though the the description slides it is sane - it is not. However, fir the price it does the job cheaply and efficiently so okay!

Soft wire nails buckle under the lightest of taps with the hammer, without nails the patches fall off within a few paces.

These heel plates are fairly easy to fix on.I used super glue, but any strong glue will do, and a small headed hammer. The inside of the heel of the shoe will need something sturdy to support it as the small nails are hammered in.I've worn the shoes as normal for a week now and the plates have held well.However... They do leave black marks on a wooden floor if the heels are scuffed along the surface. So indoor use on a hard floor might be a bit of a pain?

These are great, but I found the rubber a bit too soft. I drive for a living and wear steel capped shoes. The angle of your shoes against the carpet wears the edge of the heel. If you are rotating shoes and aren't driving a lot then these are really good. I recommend using superglue to stick them down before using the nails. (Included in the kit.)

i used superglue as the double sided tape provided does not feel adequate. before using the nails they need to be pushed through the holes in the patch

The value of money was good, however screws were constantly falling out because of them dragging on the group, heel taps were constantly falling out, lost almost all my screws trying to put them back in, I even used 5 screws per heel tap and they still fell out :/

Bisserl aufrauhen, mit Superkleber an die korrekte Stelle hinten kleben, dann die frei Nägel - das ist ein wenig mit Vorsicht zu machen, aber dann ist der Schuh perfekt geschützt. Habe es auf meine italienischen Schlüpfer gemacht - super. Erhöht die Lebenszeit und spart den sauteuren Schuster!

Funktioniert gut und man spart den Schuster. Leider zu wenig Nägel dabei und die sind abgezählt. Tipp: Da nur drei Nägel vorgesehen nehme ich 5 Nägel. 16 oder 17 mm länge sind gut die muss man sich selber besorgen. Und vorher auf jedenfall mit Schuhkleber festkleben und dann erst die Nägel. Alles in allem eine Kaufempfehlung auch wenn das Zubehör etwas mager ist. Habe diese Absätze bei drei Stiefeln im Einsatz, Benutzung im Wechsel und mit 5 Nägeln + Klebstoff geht nichts mehr ab.
