This set made a nice not-too-big house for my grandson to decorate. The cutters were precise and cut sharply so the figures didn't need to be recut. We all were very pleased.

Included all the cutting pieces, together with clear instructions and a good gingerbread recipe

This seems like your typical metal cookie cutter quality. One side is rounded for safety an the other side is sharper for cutting into dough. There is an included recipe for gingerbread, directions how to assemble the house together, and some piping bags. (Hint: when you run out of piping bags, you can cut a corner of a sandwich bag and achieve the same result. However, there are plenty of piping bags included so it should be a while before you'll need more bags.)Will this become a family heirloom? Probably not. Will this last the next decade? Most likely if we take care of it. It's easy enough to clean--just be careful of the sharp edges when handwashing. It's heat-advisory July here, so I can't make this now. However, I have baked enough and made enough cookies (literally thousands) to know when I see a product if it'll work. This will work! If I am mistaken or am blow away by the included recipe, I will revist and edit this review.

Nice set.

I am so excited about this! It has all the cutters and recipe to make a classic little gingerbread house. I will update this review with pictures when I actually make it very soon.
