Great book.
My 10 ten year old loves this book. We have done a few of the experiments and it all worked. It a starter kit so some of the experiments are somewhat easy but still very interesting.

I sent it back after seeing it was about 15 or so pages of just regular activities like simple word search
I took a risk on this book as there were no reviews, so I thought I'd enter one for others looking into this one. I sent it back after seeing it was about 15 or so pages of just regular activities like simple word search, mazes, and such. There are references to engineering, but I was looking for a book that would help my daughter who loves to make/invent things come up with activities or projects to actually make things. If your looking for a book of simple kids engineering projects to "make" this is not the one. If you want something that references engineering and has activities you can find in a kids restaurant menu this is the one for you.

I gir this book this January . new one , I was not at home ,I booked 4 bookes together , Amazon sent parcel to my friend's place and the delivery guy inserted parcel into mailbox , when my friend found it , 2/3 of parcel was out of mailbox, the carton one side is open , missed one box , Amazon sent another another one to me free. anyway , My son like the book ..It use simple words to explain some Engineering facts,every fact has an activity that kids can easy to work on it . I am satisfied with this book , I recommend it . one star I didn't give is Amazon sent a Sloppy package to me .

ok but too expensive for what its worth
Very basic and my 8 year old finished the whole book in a couple of hours - some pages took him a minute or two to complete - and he got it all correct in that time too so not very challenging either. From the description I thought he would work through it over several days! Not 'packed' with activities and facts as it says it is in description.
