Rubie's Child's Forum Super Hero Boot Covers, Yellow

Ok, if you are one of those folks who likes to spend $9.99 or LESS on stuff and then gets completely annoyed when you don't receive 5-star, high-end, luxury-quality items...this is NOT the product for you. HOWEVER, if you are looking for a very decent pair of COSTUME QUALITY faux boots, that will hold up for multiple uses (IF YOU TREAT THEM WITH MODERATE CARE), are versatile and easy to care for, you have hit the jackpot. These boots are perfect for the occasional school play, Halloween, dress up, etc. If you are looking for that legit cosplay, real-life look, you might want to pony up a little more cash and find a different set of fake boots. These are your regular, run-of-the-mill, costume quality look and costume quality feel "boots" that every parent with a kid who wants to be a Renaissance peasant, knight, pirate or romantic libertine could use.

They were great. As advertised and fit over the shoe perfectly. We just went with a different pair.

These look great and fit my son's shoes well. He is 7 years old and wears a little boys size 12. I do agree that they will not last long. They seem great for maybe one or two times using them for a costume party or Halloween parade, but I don't think they will last. They are already starting to fray around the bottom edges after wearing them around the house for 10 minutes. However, for the price, they do look really great, and I am happy that I did not have to spend $60 on some real boots that my son would grow out of in 6-months.

Decent product, only problem was they really went cheap on the Velcro which made for a frustrating time for my little girl.

I used these for my adult costume and I was surprised, but they worked great! I wear a size 7.5 shoe and they with a little stretch they fit over my shoes and lasted the whole night. Worth the price for a good costume shoe cover.

The concept of these show covers is great - the construction is SO shoddy. One elastic band that was supposed to hold them onto the shoe, was completely separated (not that the velcro didn't stick - the actual seam where it was sewn came apart entirely) within 5 minutes of my kiddo walking around in them. Both covers had the back seam frayed in the same 5 minutes of wear. I wanted to love these but for covers that are supposed to go OVER shoes - as in, be used to actually walk around - they are extremely cheap on construction/materials.

I bought these for a costume and they are perfect and so much cheaper than trying to find yellow boots especially how quickly kids grow! They slide right over top of the shoes and are open on the bottom with elastic around the bottom and sides to hold they covers in place. They are good quality and can be packed away for the next costume that needs them!

I ordered these thinking they were for adults. So I was surprised when opened the package and saw that these were actually for kids lol
