Poor connection
Very difficult to connect. She it does, it is great. But I cannot afford to wait a long time to connect the headset.

Ticks all the boxes Comfort, Style, Quality
The unpacking and setup of the Jabra 55 is very simple - I was up and running calls within minutes of connecting the USB-C dongle and pairing with the headset was effortless with clear audio prompts and light indicators. The headset looks very professional and comfortable enough to wear all day. They are so lightweight that at times you can forget they're there. Unlike my previous over the ear cup headphones, I would find after an hour or so the ears can get hot and sweaty but with the Jabra, they simply sit over the ear lightly and allows your skin to breath and not cause any discomfort. The button controls are designed well and add value when using the shortcuts to start/stop a call, mute, and adjust volume control. The battery capacity allows me almost 2 days without having to re-charge and I average about 4-5hrs of calls each day - can be shorter if I listen to some music as well.Call quality is fantastic even in a busy office environment with noise cancelling features doing a great job which is a must for me when WFH with two very noisy young kids. The use of the MS Teams button on the headset is also a handy option which can be configured with other "UC" apps such as Skype etc. I have so far successfully used the Jabra 55 UC headphones with Skype, Webex, and Microsoft Teams applications.Accessories included are one USB-C charging cable and a carry case.Overall, very satisfied with the headset and is now an essential everyday office tool.

Can’t connect to its own dongle
Basically what it says in the title. Got given this from work to use and two of us in the office have the same problem. It won’t connect to its own dongle, can’t even connect it to our laptops by cable. Useless piece of kit to us now, broke in literally 3 days of being given it.Clearly not we’ll set up if you need to take your laptop to meetings away from it and it will be plugged in and out of the laptop. Added to that it only had acceptable sound quality and comfort.

Not as wow as the price would suggest!
Working in a pre-sales role and mainly remotely, I spend about 80% of my week in GMeet/Zoom/Teams calls, so a decent headset is an absolute must for my job! When I saw this campaign come up on the Insiders, I thought it would be the perfect opportunity to upgrade my headset game and Jabra is an instantly recognisable brand. The packaging is good - no bigger than it needs to be. The headset is stored inside a soft felt type zip back with a little pocket for the USB-C dongle, which is a nice touch. However, given the nature of the headset's intended purpose, I do question just how protective the case will be once its chucked inside your work bag and jostled around alongside all the other stuff in there! The headset is super light and comfortable to wear - I could easily leave it on all day without much bother. The pads around the ears are nice and soft and the band offers plenty of adjustability. So what's it like to actually use? The audio quality is pretty decent and nobody has complained that I sound muffled etc. However, I really miss the noise cancelling of the in-ear bluetooth buds I was using before. The Engage 55 lets in a lot of outside noise and I found it really easy to get distracted. Working from home with kids running around after school turned into a real chore, whereas with my buds I was totally oblivious to my kids fighting 10 feet away from me.The mute button on the boom mic is certainly useful - I had to download a Google Chrome extension to get it to control all the functions in GMeet. Zoom and Teams functionality is supposed to be ready out-of-the-box and where Zoom was seamless to use, Teams was a bit hit-and-miss.The battery life is rather shocking - I've had to charge it once a day since I started using it. For something so expensive, I expected it to last at least 2 or 3 days on a single charge! I was also disappointed to find that you have to charge it using a USB-C to Micro-USB cable and that is simply not good enough. We're in an age where connections are supposed to be going more and more uniform and this just feels like a step back - I want to carry less cables in my bag, not more! My bluetooth earbuds have a case with a battery built-in, so in between calls they're being charged without me even thinking about it. The Engage 55 doesn't have that flexibility.Would I recommend the Engage 55 Stereo UC USB-C headset? For the money this costs, no. It's a decent headset but it just doesn't feel like its worth the RRP.

Great quality - Improved my audio
I've always seen Jabra as being one of the leaders in the headset space, but unfortunately I've never been able to justify spending that much more on a headset. Now I've actually done it I can say 100% you get what you pay for and it is worth it! The call quality is soo much better, I find I no longer have to ask people to repeat their questions because I couldn't hear them properly and they can also hear my so much more clearly! One person even said it sounded like I was an air traffic controller very professional and smooth sounding! Initial setup was super easy, literally just plugged in the USB-C Jabra Link 400 and within seconds my laptop was ready to use it! Although not officially supported I also plugged the Link 400 in to my Samsung S22 Ultra phone and was surprised to find I could also use it with that, which now means I get crystal clear calls regardless of which device I'm using!! My only downside to the product is the head set uses a Micro USB to charge it!! This is now my only device not using USB-C so I have to carry around a cable just for the headset. Bit of a let down and would have easily got 5 stars if it wasn't for that.

Excellent headset and call quality
My job means I have up to a dozen conference calls a day. Therefore the audio quality is for me of utmost importance. That also includes that the voice should sound natural and not like sitting in a box or the voice distorted. Using another Jabra model at work I was intrigued by the Jabra E55 and gave it a try in my home office. My call participant's feedback to my question about how I sound was overwhelmingly positive with most saying it is perfect. That compared with the easy setup, the lightweight design, the possibility to use it wired or wireless are the reasons to make it a firm part of my homeoffice setup.
