We used this at a tradeshow that had a Hollywood theme. Our star product is a medical equipment that we dressed up like a star then put her name on the "star" and placed it in front of her at our booth. It really turned out cute!

I got one of these stars for a hollywood themed birthday party. I wanted to write the name of the birthday girl on the star. I will say that the star itself is pretty awesome. It's sort of that window cling type stuff, but a little sticker. We put it on the front door and it looked great. It stayed on all night and removed cleanly without leaving any residue.That said, the thing that shocked me about the star was the difficulty we had getting a pen to write on it. It's sort of a slick material, but our house is armed with dozens of sharpies. The sharpies beaded up and you couldn't see anything that was written with them. What repels sharpie! It's a permanent marker! We had a marks-a-lot pen as well, but that was only slightly better. In the end it was hard to read the name we wrote on it.If you think you have a good permanent marker that isn't a sharpie, by all means. I know that if you buy them in larger quantities they will sometimes send you a pen to use on them as well. The difficulty of getting ink to stick was the only downside to this fun star!

This was purchased for my Daughter's 13th birthday. She was celebrating her birthday with a Movie theme and we had a Red Carpet that everyone walked down when coming into the home. She wanted this at the end of the carpet and let me just tell you everyone was "Stunned!" They all commented on it and loved it. We have Travertine Floor and the sticker went down and came up in seconds. Not one issue. Must have for your next Movie Night celebration.

The reviews mentioned the poor quality, and they did not lie; sadly I didn't review them prior to purchase.

Fun accessory for hollywood partyl Used a paint pen and put the guests names on it. Put them on the tiles in my living room for our "walk of fame". They didn't all come up easily but are good quality. Probably do great on windows.

I read a review that mentioned that, though it says you can write on the star, the ink rubs off, even with permanent marker and sharpies. So i used letter stickers, and it worked great! I think i like the stick on letters better because they come in a variety of designs to choose from.
