What are the dimensions of each meeple?

Approximately 5/8 of an inch tall(toes to head), 5/8 of an inch wide(hand to hand) and 3/4 deep of an inch(front to back). For a contextual example when laid on its back a meeple almost entirely inside a US penny.

They are the size of a dime almost exactly. Just thicker.

I need brown instead of gray. are these paintable? tia!

You should be able to paint them - might take a while to get good coverage on all sides. May need to sand them lightly first, then make sure to use a non-toxic paint that won't chip off if children will use them.
