Boost Very High Calorie Nutritional Drink, Very Vanilla, 8 FL OZ (Pack of 12)

My go too. Trying to gain weight as I lost weight and it’s hard sometimes to eat when I’m at work. So I drink these in between meals. Also very good!

I buy these for my mom who doesn't eat much so she will get a lot of calories each time she drinks a Boost. She likes them. I have to order these as they don't have the very high calorie ones in the stores here. I get them as a subscription so the price is a little cheaper as they are expensive.

The protein was recommended by my dad’s doctor. My dad was dealing with throat cancer with 29 rounds of radiation to the throat area. So needless to say eating and drinking became a nightmare for my dad. So, the nutritionist suggested this particular Boost shake because it was high in calories and my dad was steadily losing weight . I purchased the Boost and my dad tried it. It took him a minute to get it down but he did. Let me tell you!!! Within a few minutes he started trying to say something without coughing to hard and managed to whisper out, “it’s burning my throat!”My dad was brave to try it one more time but needless to say it burn his throat again. I ended up donating the shakes to a near by food bank. I can’t say these shakes were bad or good so try them. The complications of the radiation made it hard to swallow and to digest food and liquids. I hope this will help someone.
