For soothing acne/breakouts. I like the innovative bottle pump.
This review is for Skin & Lab Tricicabarrier Calming Ampoule. I thought it was a bit odd when I got the product with the two tubes, there's no instructions, but you insert the product tube into the clear tube and it can open and close the pump. I actually like this, but can't imagine why they didn't design it as one tube. It's a bit waste of plastic, but I don't know if you can just purchase the product tube separately and change it out each time or if you have to toss the entire thing each time. I like the innovative pump because it can close, but I really dislike pumps in general for skin care. The product itself is good, it didn't cause any allergic reactions for me. I used it after toner, and before essence/serum, and finished up with a moisturizer. It has little to no smell that I could perceive. And mine had an expiration date of 2025. It's not a stand alone product, so it shouldn't be used as such. I use it when I have breakouts and only in that area. I try not to use it all over the face. Since it does have tea tree, I feel it doesn't necessarily "hydrate" but does a pretty good job of calming the skin. The price can be on the pricey side since it is $24 for a bottle of a little over 1 ounce, but if the ingredients work for your skin type I recommend a try.

Gentle and soothes skin
The media could not be loaded. Skin & lab are one of my favorite Korean skincare products. This ampoule is infused with Centella Asiatica one of the most popular ingredient in skincare. Very gentle mild serum texture won’t leave your skin sticky or oily. Will need a face cream after application because won’t hydrate. Didn’t notice any smell.Helps with redness and soothing skin.Modern bottle concept makes the product stand out.

No noticeable skin improvement.
I was excited to try this product, as I've been wanting to include an ampoule or serum into my skincare routine, and I liked that one of the main ingredients in this product is tea tree, as I'm prone to acne breakouts. I'd consider my skin type combination, somewhat sensitive, and acne-prone.I was a bit confused by this product initially, as you have to assemble the bottle yourself, but once I figured it out, I did find it a bit neat that the outer shell of the pump bottle is reusable. I think that there are easier ways they could have gone about this, however. I'm unsure whether this was mainly as a stylistic choice, as it does make the design of the product stand out a bit. This product doesn't have an overwhelmingly strong scent, so that's always a plus. Additionally, it didn't cause my sensitive skin any irritation. I'm not sold on the actual effectiveness of this ampoule, however. It felt like I needed to use several pumps just to apply it to the entirety of my face, which isn't great when the product costs over 20 dollars per ounce. I believe the struggle to apply it is in part because of how watery it is, which just makes it feel like it doesn't go very far. Additionally, I've used this product several times so far, but I haven't noticed any improvements to my skin in the hours or days following application that I could account to this product. I applied it to the skin before bed, so the product should have had ample time on the skin.I'll be using this product until it's gone, since it hasn't appeared to have had any negative impacts on the skin, but I don't think this is a product that I would order again. Skincare is very individual, so it could potentially be great for someone else, but for me it was ineffective.

It's Good...I think.
My ratings and review: 1 out of 5 stars, 1 being worst and 5 being great.Disclaimer: As with all beauty products, just because it does one thing for me doesn't mean you will have the same results or opinions.Overall 4, it's not bad.packaging-5, It's pretty neat, I've never seen a bottle like this.smell-5 has no smell at allthe texture of the product- 4, a water-like gel.texture after use on skin-4.5, it feels a little softer. Is it worth it? If it works for you then yes.final thoughts-Ok, I know I gave it a 4 but I still think it's a pretty decent product. With there being no scent and its calming ingredients this would be great for people with sensitive skin. I have lots of inflammation from rosacea so I love to try new products, with this product I didn't really notice much difference in my skin's texture. That doesn't mean it won't be good for you so take it with a grain of salt. I have a 40-year-old woman's skin so I don't know how it would be on younger or older people. I think it does have some calming effects on my cheeks but it wasn't drastic. I say it's good enough to give it a try.

A nice serum
This is a nice facial serum that I am using alongside Tricicabarrier lotion. (For reference, I have adult acne that just won't go away.) While using this, I have noticed that redness from acne has faded faster, but I haven't had any less acne on my face. Also, while this isn't greasy at all, my face has seemed a bit shinier since I started using it. Perhaps switching to just using this at night and something else during the day would be helpful. All in all, if you're having problems with redness/discoloration on your face, this might be a product worth trying.

It's Okay
This does a decent job helping to calm irritated skin, but it felt a tad drying. (And I say this as someone with very oily skin.) It may be useful for someone with very greasy, irritated skin.
