Who knew that such a tiny and helpful measuring tool existed? I have a larger one, and this is perfect for small amounts of ingredients that would normally stick to my measuring spoons. Great!

Efficient volumetric measuring Made easy
Great tool to measure & then discharge the entire measured volume for use…I place it on top rack of dishwasher..after separating the cylinder & plunger. I place them each on individual prongs of the rack..

Adorable and Useful Kitchen Gadget
I receive far too many e-newsletters that provide tips to make my life easier. Most of those tips are just plain goofy. This, however, is not a goofy gizmo. I love it. It is perfect for measuring honey, molasses and other cool sticky items.I can't imagine anyone using this to measure a hot liquid but just in case: don't. Plastic and hot liquids are not a good combination.I have not noticed any smearing of the markings, nor has my Mini Adjust-a-Cup come undone. I will, however, report here if it ever does suffer some sort of malfunction.Yes, this is top-shelf dishwasher safe. My recommendation is to put it inside of something and not let it fly loose. I keep a Dishwasher Basket in my dishwasher and it is perfect for small items like this Mini Adjust-a-Cup. I've also seen using a laundry bag suggested for top shelf safe items.02/04/2012 Update: While cruising my local $ Tree I encountered a box of Mini-Adjust-A-Cups. There were not "Satin" but the print was exactly the same as the print on this item. I'm not going to change my star rating, because I'm still in love with it, but wanted to share the information.

It took 11 years for seal to wear out!!
I used this mini measuring device for eleven years, especially to measure wet ingredients for recipes. It is an excellent way to scrape all the ingredient into a recipe. It is more efficient than getting sticky ingredients out of a measuring spoon. I washed it in the silverware holder of the dishwasher. After 11 years, the seal chipped. VERY good value for the cost.

Too small to be usable, costs money to return, don't waste your time.
I didn't even take it out of the package. Did I miss where it is only 1/4 cup capacity somewhere in the description?! Don't waste your time.

I am glad I found these
I have used these so many times in the short time that I have owned them. I have no issue with the measurement markings fading. I wash by hand though so that may be why, It is great for measuring honey, Karo syrup, and Dijon mustard. Makes it so much easier to get it all in and not fight with scraping it out of the measuring spoon.I am glad I purchased these even if they fade I can use a sharpie or have my husband etch the marking on for me.
