Heinz Real Mayonnaise Single Serve Packet (0.4 oz Packets, Pack of 200)

While buying mayo by the jar is far less expensive, it always ends up going bad before I use the entire jar, even if I buy the smallest size. The nasty stuff in the jar grosses me out and I stop using mayo for a while.Individual packets are much better. They don't need to take up space in the fridge. They provide built-in portion control--it's much harder to slather on the mayo when that means using 2 or 3 packets. And there's no jar quickly going bad to deal with.This mayo tastes pretty good. Not quite as good as fresh mayo from a jar, but pretty close.The packet size is perfect for a chicken sandwich or to mix in with a small can of tuna for tuna salad.Recommended.

What exactly can I say?…taste exactly like Mayo! Lol Great/ convenient for packing lunches, picnics or anything on-the-go!

We like the taste of the mayonnaise from the packets better than the jar, the jar just tastes different. Not a bad price, will be buying monthly.

Likes: I love the individual packets so that I won't have to waste a jar of mayonnaise when I can only want a little. A box of 200 packages takes me about a year to finish. It is perfect for people who can never finish a whole jar and only uses mayo now and then. Heinz has the best mayonnaise in my opinion. It is creamy and smooth but without the high level of vinegar that comes with other brands like Kraft or Best Foods. The individual packaging allows us to keep the mayo fresh for longer periods of time. Every packet tasted fresh each time.Did Not Like: Heinz is sloppy in their packaging. Although none of the packets I received exploded, many of the packets were covered with oily substance. I had to wash them before using or throwing them into lunchboxes, because with the greasiness of the packets it made it nearly impossible to tear. Another thing was that whoever packaged the box did a messy job because there were 3 pieces of tape going across the opening. It looked like the box had been opened, re-taped, opened again, and then taped back a 3rd time. I don't know if they made a mistake and reused the box or something.

BUYER BEWARE - I have previously bought the Heinz (Purple colored) packets for use in our company cafeteria, because they taste better than most cheap brands. This time upon opening/inspection of the 2 cases of 500 each revealed LEAKAGE PROBLEMS throughout both cases of packets. It's a direct result of poorly aligned/very thin seals on 1 long edge of the foil packets from the HEINZ factory. THIS IS AN UNACCEPTABLE QUALITY CONTROL PROBLEM because of the dangers from spoilage/Botulism. Sorted out 1st case of 500 packets and found a lot of greasy spoiled globs of mayo everywhere inside. Counted 70 packets that leaked from same spot on the long edge (14% failure rate). The 2nd case upon opening revealed more packets leaking as well. Both boxes had zero visible damage and no oily spots visible on outside of cases when delivered on Aug 23rd 2023. NEVER BUYING HEINZ product again......
