Clip On Watch - Silver with Black Dial

This is the silver clip watch with the black face and KLOX logo on the face. I decided to write this review because I have had the black painted version of this same watch for over a year now and I just replaced the battery, which was no problem. It has held up so well that I decided to buy the silver version of it so I could have variety. This is a very nice alternative to wearing a wrist watch where I work. After a year of wear on my wrist, a watch is very scratched up and the band usually fails.The black clip-on watch has some paint scratched off and a few scratches on the front glass but is still very satisfying to look at. Being able to hook this on my belt loop and quickly flip it up to see the time is so much less hassle than digging my cell phone out of my pocket just to check the time.When I had the back off this watch (the original one) to change the battery (the extra included with the watch) I noticed that it was well designed inside and the movement has 'Japan' printed on it. The watch doesn't appear to be water resistant but I think it would probably survive light rain. Its been easy for me to keep it from water being splashed on it though because its not on my wrist!I think this watch is well worth the $19 I payed for it. There is one difference I noticed in this new one. The glass face crystal is slightly domed while the original watch I bought has a flat glass crystal. NICE TOUCH!

A very handy way to wear or carry an accurate watch. I wear my clip-on watches on my belt loop. The face orientation makes it easy to see the time when looking down. This is a sturdy watch, inside and out. I have no concern that there is much I can do that will cause damage to this timepiece. I tried a couple different brands of similar watches that incorporated an LED flashlight. It was a solution searching for a legitimate need. Too often, the light button would be pressed accidentally, causing the secondary battery to be depleted prematurely. Get this design, without the useless flashlight, and use it easily for over a year without any attention. This was a good buy.

{UPDATE: I don’t think it ever claimed to be any more than water resistant, but this watch will not survive a trip through the laundry. My mistake and no reflection on the watch. Just giving a heads up. I’ll be buying another one shortly.}Last year, I was training and raising two Golden Retriever puppies. In their exuberance at lead training, they managed to strip the crowns off not one, but two wristwatches. I had to find an alternative, and this watch is it. It keeps good time, isn’t too noticeable hanging on my belt loop, and the ‘biner clip is robust enough to take some good abuse. I wear it hiking, camping, and just day-to-day. Love it. Oh: the two Golden brothers have become the big-hearted, loving, full-of-beans brothers that I knew they would. :)

My husband has been using a watch similar to this one that he purchased at WalMart, but our local WalMart no longer stocks the watch that he has been using. He was very happy to find this one on Amazon, and so far, he is very happy with it.

Husband can't wear a watch on his wrist, so has been wearing a clip on for years. His broke ( the hooking mechanism) so I was looking for a new one. He received it 2 weeks ago and today he noticed the crystal on the front had fallen off the face of the watch. No idea of how or when!! This does not make for a good review for this watch.

I like the watch, it was compact and simple. But, the second hand got stuck against the minute hand and I had to take apart the watch and slightly bend the second hand to work.Of course, the clip on for the belt sticks open and it fell onto concrete and cracked the glass!

I was finally able to obtain my product from the post office, and the product does not work. The packaging was intact, both inside and out, and it looked it great condition. However, the hands on the watch are lose and just move back and forth freely; unable to set accurate time, because the hands just fall to the bottom. The only hand that works is the second hand, which is mainly what I use as a paramedic; but it would be nice to know the time.

For $13 why wont i be happy? From having an applewatch to this, simplicity is the answer to overly decorated wrist.
