Paper Mate 1887960 ClearPoint Mix & Match 0.7MM Mechanical Pencil Starter Kit

I already had a ClearPoint that was 0.5 sized for lead that I've held onto tightly for years. I had a a co-worker try to snatch from me but I had put blue lead into it so there was no disputing it. The fact that I can take the tops off of any of them and switch the colors of both the plastic clip and the erasers is super fun and useful. I now have three of these that I enjoy switching around, including the color of lead, so it helps me identify which one I want to use. One more compliment, I love the grip for my hand. I'm left handed as well as hold pencils differently,I put the pencil between my thumb and RING finger, and these are comfortable as well as giving a very sure grip when writing or drawing. It's not super squishy or bulky feeling like some can be. I love Paper Mate's pens and am delighted to find I enjoy these pencils as well.

This is my daughter's favorite type of pencil for school. She unfortunately keeps losing them at school and complains constantly till I order her a new one. She says they are the most comfortable pencil to use and they write nice and smooth. She also really loves being able to change the colors depending on her mood that day. Her friends all think they look cool too. The eraser can also be twisted up as it is used, something I think she enjoys playing with will she is bored at school. The colors you receive are random. I ordered 2 from Amazon and received a blue and pink one. Her previous ones I ordered from elsewhere and got a green and purple. Now if I can only find a way to keep her from losing them.

My daughter seems to have inherited my love for pens and pencils from me. So when she came across this pencil of course she had to have it.The pencil is easy to use and is a nice good quality pencils. My daughter seems to go through an abundance of pencils and so far this one has held up the best. Overall this was a great purchase and I will definitely be buying some additional pencils for my daughter as she loves them!!

This is a nice idea to be able to switch out colors. I purchased it for extra parts thinking the tops to the pencils I had were broken and I could replace them. However, it turns out, the barrel on the pencils were broken and so the tops are useless. I would give this a higher rating if the barrels on these mechanical pencils were built better. We don't get the mileage out of these mechanical pencils that we should simply because they don't hold up.

I've never been a huge mechanical pencil fan until I was introduced to the Paper Mate Clearpoint 0.7MM a couple years back now I love them. However, this set specifically that I bought, I've noticed that the colored erasers don't work very well and will sometimes leave smudges where you were erasing them and or leaving some of the color behind on the page. The normal white erasers they usually come with have never caused me any problem at all.

This is the only way to purchase replacement erasers for these pencils! You get a good amount in here. Only downside is you have a bunch of leftover parts of the pencil. Not sure what to do with them but it’s less wasteful than having to purchase entirely new pencils. Will definitely purchase again.

I really like this pencil, how it feels in my hand and how it writes but it is odd that the different erasers and end caps are not matching. (they sent 4 colors of caps and 4 different colors of erasers). Whatever, I still like it!
