it is very bright light and soothing
The light is very bright and soothing, the area covered by light is also large, as claimed in the item description. As an illumination device this is fantastic. Installation can be a challenge as no connecting screw or plastic buds are included in the package. Self-installation is possible only if you have spare screws at your disposal or while replacing a light and can use the existing screws. the space between the holder and the light is very limited for a wire connector, although the instruction encourages the use of a connector, it is difficult to fit a connector and physical wire connection with insulation tape is what I ended up doing.

Best suite for 150 sq ft room size. You need minimum 2numbers of 24w light to lit 300sqft hall. Luminous is ok. But i felt i size could be little larget. Its just the size of my palm, and i am 5.5f tall. Its got lost on my 300+ sqft hall ceiling.

Good performance but bad packaging from Philips
It would have been better if the raw connection to hotwire was not required. Instead, it should have given a mechanism to slide into the connection like a flat bulb holder. Also, their 20W Hexagonal surface lights come with pair of screws but this one didn't so the extra cost for attachment was required.
