Not really a true running shoe
FYI I live in Boulder and run 75ish miles a week when training for a marathon. I'm also a sub 3hr marathoner (age 43). Adidas is still stuck with producing "street shoes" for the masses and true running shoes take second place. Boost material has great energy return but it comes at a cost, weight. Boost is heavier than EVA and you can feel it. The stability in this shoe in the form of firmer boost pellets on the medial side does not help with overpronation. A traditional medial post would be great! The traction is superb and the web like design of the Continental rubber is the best on the shoe market. I wish more running shoes offered a similar pattern. Rocks, mud and debris cannot get wedged in between the grooves like every other running shoe out there. It's perfect. The heel counter is genius allowing the achilles to be "free" while still providing a solid heel lock down. However, one feels the shoe is unstable (like a water bed) and I often turned my ankle. The softness of the boost gave me aches in my arches and the weight of the shoe is ridiculous. Hoka's provide pilloweness with out the weight and have high energy return. The Glide 4 (pre boost) was a great shoe. This is not.
