Loveee this book!!
In Rhiannon Janae’s book, Words You Never Thought You’d Hear, she writes inspiring words about self-growth and the ability to love someone or something. I absolutely recommend this book if you are looking for inspiring and powerful words to help you figure out how to improve your self-love and understand how love should make you feel. I would even recommend this to someone who feels brokenhearted, even though hearing things about love often makes a broken heart feel worse, she does a good job of providing comfort with her poems that inspire you to get past the hurt and heal yourself. This book to me was very encouraging about the idea to put yourself and your needs first and that is how you allow yourself to grow. Some of the poems she writes made me realize that with every change I think brings me down only comes a new beginning and those new beginnings could be so beautiful and exactly what I needed. I loved how she really focused on the idea that loving yourself first is the key to growing and gaining the power to help other people do the same in order to grow together. I was shown by her that love should not feel like a burden or something that holds you back, but it should feel like growing with someone who will allow for you to do what you need to do to stay true to yourself. Some poems in here almost creeped me out because of how much I needed to hear them at that exact time and it made me really think about how similar I am to other people all around the world. From her writing, I was able to feel more deeply about myself, my family, my friends, and my significant other. I learned how loving myself and healing myself will allow me to become more loving for all the people around me who want to help me grow into the person I am meant to be. One of my favorite poems she wrote was “love me, but love yourself first. love you, but let me love myself first. love me, but love yourself more. love you, but let me love myself more.” To me this was a great example of what love is and how two people should be able to allow themselves to be selfish while loving and caring for one another. I think that poem would be the one that inspired me the most and made me really understand love works in a system and if you don't love yourself you can never truly love someone else because this won't allow you to open up. I think Rhiannon’s main purpose in writing this book was to show her readers that being not okay is okay, but you have to allow yourself to grow in order to get over that bridge of pain and confusion not only for yourself but for the people you love and for the people who love you.

Healing and love
Beautiful. In Words You Never Thought You'd Hear, Rhiannon Janae gently encourages breaking through life's storms to the rainbows with self love and compassion for yourself that brings healing. Despite our pasts, we can heal ourselves, accept love, and continueto evolve and grow together. Easy to read.

A release into a world of love for others and love for oneself
The poetry in this book takes you through a transitional journey of healing trauma and recognizing the beauty in new beginnings and the happiness one can find in love for themselves and others. One of my favorite pieces is the following quote, "love me, but love yourself first. / love you, but let me love myself first. / love me, but love yourself more. / love you, but let me love myself more," (Janae 135). It is a reminder that in love we shouldn't lose sight in the importance of self-love. We cannot love others unless we have immense love for ourselves. Throughout this book, there are many pieces which reflect how important it is to ensure your lover is allowing you space for self-love and -growth. I would recommend this book to anyone who has once lost sight of themselves in a relationship, who once felt undeserving of love, who are still searching for answers on what love should feel like, and who are in need of a release from the trauma in their past and want to know there is happiness to be sought after again.

Healing
I purchased this book with a different perspective in mind. I wanted to read it for myself while in the processing of annotating it for a friend of mine going through a rough patch. He loved it and thinks it’s a really good gift idea. The author described love and healing all in one in perfect aspects that it’s a book you can not put down! 5/5 stars

Produkt wie beschrieben
Der Druck ist nicht gerade erstklassig. Am Einband bilden sich schnell Flecken. Das Werk an sich hat ist okay. Würde ich allerdings nicht erneut kaufen.
