Works well so far
Ordered for a car wash tank to replace new Roberts valves that seem to have issues shutting off and no one will address. This valve is working fine after 2 weeks. Hopefully will get good service for several years.

What a Great Product for Inventors
I used this to build a water town for my 12 bag cement mixer. It fills a 22 qt bucket, shuts off, then I flush the bucket using a toilet valve into my mixer pointed straight up. Then move to the bag fill position. The valve is highly adjustable. There's a good video to see how to use it associated with the company. I came up with fifty more ideas playing around with this. If you need to regulate a vessel of water, this is your best, high quality choice.

Doesn't allow water to pass through
I got the item June 30th but hadn't tried to use it until recently. Unfortunately it won't allow water to pass through. I checked the filter screen and the valve is functional but it appears the internal mechanism that is supposed to open the valve when it is screwed together doesn't open the valve, so it remains closed and doesn't allow water to pass. $40 is alot for a valve that doesn't work.

Great Pond Filler Valve
I like that the valve is either full off (no drips) or it is full on. Other valves that i've used, start to slow down the rate of fill as the float rises, which makes filling a 2,200 gallon pond take for ever. This valve also has features that other valves don't have: ability to lock the flow on, multiple ways to mount, being able to remove the valve while still under pressure, extra large float. It does a great job of maintaining water at the desired height, compared to other valves that couldn't keep up with water loss on windy or hot days..

Works great with low pressue
Attached to a rain barrel to keep a sheep water trough full. Works great with just gravity pressure right from the barrel!

Float ball became full of water; failed
Update 2: I received the replacement plastic float ball in 3 days. I tested it by fully submerging it (weighted down) for 12 hours, and no sign of any water intrusion. In the meantime I've bought a brass float valve with stainless steel ball, and installed it to get the irrigation system up and running again. So I'll keep the Jobe valve as a backup.Update: I contacted Jobe and they are sending me a new float ball under warranty. It should get here in a couple of days. I used the contact form on their website and followed up with an email. Response time was <1 day.Original Review: This valve worked great for about 3 months. Then one day I happened to look at the water tank it was filling, and saw that it was overflowing. Turns out the float ball is half full of water! I removed it and tried to shake the water out, but I'm not seeing any water leak out. However there is no doubt the ball is half full of water; you can see it, feel it, and shake the water around. I'll see if Jobe will warranty this valve and send me a new float. But how can I trust it not to happen again?
