I hunted this down because I wanted to be able to use my table for artwork without damaging it. This protector is so perfect! It's thick, glossy, smooth, and durable, and I liked that there were different size options available. Fits my hard-working table, which opened up even more possibilities of use. Spills & crumbs, glue & glitter, cake batter, oily measuring cups, and even Thanksgiving dinner, have all been wiped off smoothly and cleanly with ease. It's allowed me to use lighter tablecloths without worry of stains, and even looks nice used directly on the table. I've had it a while now, and still looks new and crystal clear without scratches.

This is the second one I have purchased-- one is on a writing table in my living room and one on a crafting table. Both tables have beautiful wood finishes and this cover allows me to enjoy the beautiful wood but use the table without worry of damage. The cover comes rolled and needs a little time to relax, but I didn't need to do anything but give it a few days and then both were perfectly flat. The measurements are exact, the corners have a slight rounding (as shown in the photos) and the product is thick and yet crystal clear. I plan to order another for my dining table. This is a unique product that I was very happy to find and is definitely worth the cost.

Thick and clear. I use for my desktop, computer, monitor, other items on top. Need to roll in opposite direction an leave sitting that way for a few days. Corners continue to curl a bit for a while. I have rolled it in the other direction, then placed heavy objects on the corners. After several months, with the corners weighted by various computer/desk items, it still curls very slightly, but it's OK to use.

Recently painted an old wooden desk for my office and the top is black. I knew it would chip as I am sitting at it every day. I want to preserve it as best as I could and it be easy to clean. This fits perfectly and so far has not scratched. It also stays in place and bc its clear I can slide reminders or notes under it and they stay nice and neat. Its a pretty thick piece so I suspect the durability in the long term will be good.

Love this. It protects my wood table from my small children while still being able to see the beautiful table top. I've had it 1.5 years, and it's still in great condition.Previously, I had pieced together foam board, then covered it with an opaque table cloth followed by a clear plastic one to protect it from spills. This one-time purchase has lasted far longer than the take cloths I was purchasing more frequently and had actually saved me money, and it's not in the landfill yet like the others.It was also true to size and 36"x36" fit my table of the same size. It took a little while for the curl to settle out, but not bad.

This items is thick and durable. It is better than glass over the table and protects the wood surface. It doesn't slide around and washes easily. I am such a fan that I bought more to line my cabinets and drawers. Highly recommend

This is a wonderful product! It is totally clear (see-through), as promised. I ordered two to be "permanent placemats" over my marble-topped table, so I could enjoy the natural beauty of the stone and not have to cover it up. It is not even noticeable as you walk by -- you see the entire marble top of my table. So happy with this!It arrives in a very tightly rolled tube (maybe tighter than needed), but not hard to open. Just be careful when cutting open the foil wrap it comes in so that you don't cut the mat. There is a little plastic odor, but not bad at all and most would not notice it. However, I aired my out for a few days in my garage and laid it across some items for the curl to flatten out.The edges of one of the mats immediately laid flat, but the other was still curling a bit. I just put a few heavy books around the edges for about a week and that did the trick.I recommend these for any surface you would like to protect. The thickness is (to me) perfect -- thick enough to stay flat, protect the surface against damage, and look invisible. Seems like it will last for a long time.
