SILCA Ultimate Tubeless

I've been riding tubeless tires for over a decade on my mountain bikes and about 5 years or so on road and gravel. I've tried all the major brands from Stan's to Orange Seal, etc. While those sealants work well too, I've found myself purchasing this Silca offering exclusively in the last few years because it simply delivers and tends to stay in it's liquid form longer than most. Sealant works very well, especially on tubeless gravel and road tires. Because of the particles in the sealant, this has to be poured into the tire rather than "injected" through the valve stem, otherwise it will likely clog the injector or the valve stem. Because it's Silca, you know the quality is there. The product works very well and would recommend highly.

Finally a sealant that works. Very happy with this product, just know that you cannot install through the valve. With the ingredients you need to pour into the tire.

This is the best sealant I’ve ever used. As a guy who had always used orange seal (also very good) there is a noticeable difference. This stuff gets sticky almost immediately when it hits the air. It can be a bit of a pain to work with but the results are tremendous l

Sealant arrived today. The only instructions on the bottle was to shake well before using. I could see the fiber particles sitting on the bottom, so I shook the bottle with my index finger on the cap (assuming there was a tight cap for shipping or at least a seal as there is on the replenisher). The cap was not sealed and there was NO seal under it (as there is on the replenisher). White sealant all over my kitchen. WHAT A MESS. I hope the product works better than its packaging. I am thankful I did put my finger on the cap or it would have been worse. There are no graduation marks on the bottle that I can find to allow for measuring portions for use. Since I have found instructions stating not to use a syringe to dispense, I'll probably use a child's medicine cup for measuring.

1 tire did not hold air initially (leaked air overnight) but after spinning the wheel more to coat inside, no problems since. Holding now for 2 weeks. Consider it operator error - probably forgot to coat inside initially.

Small holes are sealed quickly but I’ve had cuts that are not sealed and had to insert a tube. Not perfect but better than others I have used.

This stuff is expensive and is crap!! The carbon fibers do not stay in solution but stick and dry to the tire!! Useless!!! The solution will dry to the tire as well!! Useless and total waste of money!!!!

Had to reseal my mtb tires. Worked great and no flats. This sealant can't be injected. It has a great ability to stop punctures. I'd take it over any other sealant, and will continue to use it

Aprire il flacone e rendersi conto che la linguetta sotto il tappo era mezza scollata e che il sigillante aveva quindi preso aria e fatto grumi non è stato bello! Spero sia stato un caso.. ad ogni modo 200ml e soldi buttati perchè inutilizzabile.

In my experience, a very good product. I applied it without cleaning the existing sealer and it worked flawlessly.
