These worked perfect for what I wanted them for and were nice prices of curly maple

Most of these were pretty nice but a couple had virtually no figuring at all.

I've purchased curly maple blanks previously but this time the wood didn't have much of the "curl" effect.

Love the simple and classy look of maple. Easy to turn. Nice finished product. Consistent pieces in every package.

What is pictured and what I received are not even close. The wood received was straight and had very minor curl to it. I turned a pen blank and dyed it, sanded then finished. Was not worth the effort. I gave two stars because it had some curl if you looked really, really hard. It would be like saying a nickle is like a dollar. While both are money, the nickle is not very useful. Would you bend over to pick up a dollar on the ground? How about a nickle? I am quite disappointed.
