Great idea
Great idea but it will not stay put with the base suction. I ended up laying it on its side and it’s working great for me. I only wish it was longer.

Nice splash guard
My wife says this is a perfect splash guard for the kitchen sink. She likes it because she can tackle large clean-up jobs and not look and feel like she’s been using a washboard. She also likes it because it stops water from dripping onto the cabinet doors below the sink. Having said that, we agree that it would be a better product if its base had suction cups down the center.

So so
I use it for a backsplash because my sink is shallow and soaks my counter. It doesn’t suction great but, it serves the purpose intended for.

durable & high enough but not that sticky
It's longer than I expected but that's good since the extra length over our small RV kitchen sink acts as a barrier to keep our cat from stepping over the other side of our sink. Its Amazon product description states that this will stick on laminate but it didn't work for us. It will stand, when carefully positioned but doesn't actually stick on the laminate countertop. It did somewhat stick on the side of our acrylic sink. It stuck better when I completely dried the sink surface as well as the sticky bottom of this splash guard. However, it gets easily knocked out of place when slightly nudged on the side. To get it to stay better, I taped both edges and that seemed to solve the nudging problem.Love how its 4.8 inch height keeps water splashes inside the sink, when we wash dishes. It keeps the countertop next to the sink dry. Like how the bottom part of this splash guard is firmer and thins out towards the top so the top is somewhat floppy when hit/nudged but goes back to its center straightness.Recommended.

Reliable
Bought this for our open-counter stove, on our kitchen island, since oil splatters into the bar area. The suction works great, the height is perfect for most uses, and it's easy to remove and adjust the placement. I recommend hovering about a centimeter above where you want to place it, with your hands at both ends, and then forcefully dropping it all at once so that the suction applies evenly. But I removed a star because our stovetop is a pretty standard length and this guard is about six inches, or like 15 cm, too short. It sounds inconsequential but makes a huge difference when you're trying to cook on two different stoves at the same time. It also unsticks easily if you push it over too hard, so this is not at all practical for use at a sink, while washing dishes or something. For my use as an oil guard it's fine since we're never reaching over or around it. But I removed another star for that, since it doesn't seem like it fulfills its intended purpose very well.

So far, the Best Splash Guard I've found
Works fairly well for keeping water in the sink and not on your clothes, cabinets, or floor. This one is much better than others I have tried. It is very flexible but sturdy. It comes all rolled up, but straightens out easily. The bottom of the guard is smooth and adheres well to a clean counter top by silicon suction. It will stay stuck where you put it even if you pull up from the top; it will, however, easily come detached if you tip the top of the guard forward or back, a problem for me as I am height challenged, so I will have to be careful when reaching over the guard and down into the sink. For the most part, water sprayed on the backside is reflected back into the sink (yay!), but a very small amount can remain on the back edge and eventually work its way along the bottom seal underneath and then to the front edge, where it can drip down. Takes a while for that to happen, but just be aware. If you remove the guard as soon as you are finished using it, it shouldn't be an issue. The guard is nice and long and easy to clean. I do wish I could bend it into a slight curve for use at my bathroom sink as well, but I couldn't get it to stick at all when curved. So, overall, not a perfect product, but it will work as intended for keeping most of the water where it belongs.

I like it, my short roommate doesn't
Our sink isn't great and whenever we wash dishes we inevitably get wet even if we're careful. So this product is perfect for me! It works and I like it! No more wet shirt when I do dishes. Also, it is really easy to put on and remove, and it DOES stick as long as it is down flat on a flat service.I should mention my roommate who is short dislikes it because she cannot reach over it and so she either knocks it into the sink or just moves it. Therefore it is not useful to her. If you don't think you'll be able to reach over the top of it and you will be the only user, you may not find it useful.

Decent suction
Definitely does the job well, has a decent height and I'm surprised how much splashing occurred without me knowing. The suction is the only issue I have. On a marble tiled countertop, the middle area suctions fine but the ends are the weakest link. Pull up from the middle, no issue; pull from the side the whole thing comes off. However, it's balanced enough that you can just have it standing upright and still protect from splashing.
