Returned this for the 36mm quartz. Much happier with it as it is pretty much spot on with a vintage 1016. This watch was excellent though and an automatic, but with that size I could just get another Seiko 5 or Mido. And I certainly don't need anymore of those. This watch was nice though for someone that wants a large size 1016, even though that was never produced in the 1960's through late 80's.

I feel like I owe this watch a review. Usually I'd go very in-depth, but I'll try to just hit the highlights. My watch has no visible QC issues at all - every surface is pleasing. The crystal is clear (not overly blue like my Addiesdive Cpt Willard) and the lume is bright white in daylight with no yellow or green cast. The bracelet is very clever but BE WARNED - the tolerances are so tight on the end links that I could not get it back on the case no matter how hard I tried after swapping on an elastic Bond nato strap (highly suggest this - so comfortable, especially if you will be stuck with it forever until your spring bar pliers arrive in the mail). The only rough surface was the edge of the end links where they butt up against the case are cut very sharp - sharp enough to cut you if you're wrestling with your end links like I was. In normal wear you can't reach this surface. Lume is great but hasn't yet 'wowed' me - I assume the markers are just a little too small to hold a ton of blast-you-in-the-face lume but they glow bright and long and a crisp blue color that has made visibility in low light a non-issue. All in all, a great watch. Looking forward to getting the bracelet back on soon.

This is a very well made Explorer hommage. The only real cost cutting issue is the pressed clasp (but it works flawlessly) . Other than that this watch is great. The tool-less quick adjust bracelet works very well. The BGW9 lume is the real deal. Mine is keeping great time at -2 seconds per day. If you are on the fence on this you need to get one and check it out.

Dial marker has come unglued within two months. Also, when I fist received the watch, it was clearly used: No protective sticker on crystal or any plastic on the case, some bad scratches on the side of the case too; but I didn’t want to go through the hassle of a return. Now I wish I had.

I have Many watches in my collection and this has been the one I've been wearing the Most!!!

The watch looks good no problems at all its just it didn't have the Easy Link removal system they advertised. My only gripe, will love if they can fix it or at least send me the right bracelet.

Amazing watch for the price. Highly recommended.
