The gaskets look nice, but are not exact replacements for the original ring. They were difficult to place on the lid, but seem to perform well and we have not had any issues thus far.

Sealed the Deal
Okay, so my InstaPot is 7 yrs. old and I use it A LOT. Well it stopped pressure cooking and I was going to purchase a new one. Well I got to thinking and ordered this seal. Well once I replaced it my InstaPot works just fine. So if you have one and you think that just replacing a seal will not work give it a try before you spend more money than you need to.

It works as it describes
I don't know how long it lasts, but it worked well when I got them. I tried one of them and put the other one aside as a spare. I usually take it off when I wash it and put it back on. I also use it as a rice cooker. So, I use it usually 5 - 6 times a week. Using it often and taking it off every time may shorten its time. Lastly, it is easier to take it off than to put it back.
