I'm a huge fan of another brand and I have built a lot of models by them. I have to say I'm pretty impressed with this model overall. The pieces fit together nice and tight and are pretty sturdy. there were no color variations in any of the pieces. The model has a working suspension and engine. The pistons turn as you roll the bike around. The instructions are easy to follow. The build is broke up into 3 steps. Bags are numbered accordingly. The packaging needs a lot of work though, it's just a generic box. There are a lot of stickers....I really hate stickerss because they never go on straight. The name they used Duccti is killing me. I just can't help but think that it's a typo even though I know it's not. The stand doesn't hold the bike up very well, it's constantly falling over. Overall, i definitely had fun building it and would recommend this model as a great alternative to a more expensive brand. Happy building!

I got this to build with my grandson. It might be a little too advanced for him, but together we are making progress. This seems like a quality set that is comparable to the big name brand sets we have.

dOvOb is certainly upping their game. The set comes in a standard cardboard box. Inside the box, the pieces are organized in packages that are well labelled. The instruction booklet is a full color setup with very detailed instructions, very similar to LEGO instructions. In the past, other competitors came up with sets wherein the instructions would be a challenge and would make for a very poor build experience.The entire build is divided into three sections. So, you will start with bags that are labelled 1, then move on to the section for bags with labels 2 and then onto 3. Just open the bags for that section that you are working on and it will make the building process so much smoother. Each section should take around 2 hours. So, all in all, you are looking for around a 6 hours of build time.The instructions are well setup, although I had to tweak a few changes to make it slightly easier. Also, pay special attention and gather up all of the pieces needed for that step. For example, in Step 48, if you just follow along, you might miss inserting that one tiny piece as the instructions skips over that piece. There are a few other areas wherein I had to struggle to insert the technic pieces. One such example is Step 111. In order to correctly insert that piece in that step, I found it easier to remove the part that was prepared in Step 18, insert the Step 110 part and then re-attach the Step 18 part. The other small gripe is the actual operation of the gear levers. It is jerky and in the end, I just stopped messing with the mechanism. There are minor grumbles in what turned out to be an engaging and awesome build experience.The stickers are also top notch and although I kept mine off the motorcycle, they would certainly look great. Looks like dOvOb does not have any licensing agreement with Ducati, but that is okay.I am very pleased to see a new competitor for LEGO rise up and provide a very worthy product for end consumers. Their pricing is very similar to LEGO products, but the build quality of the pieces and the detailed nature of the instruction booklet makes it all worthwhile. Can I say that the quality of the stickers is actually better than what LEGO has? No hesitation from my end in recommending this set. I am a big fan of motorcycles and this dOvOb set will look very well with my other motorcycle sets.

Another great dOvOb motorcycle brick set. This set took me under 4 hours to build without any sticker applications besides one. The bike is built in 3 sections and all bags are numbered for each section. No pieces were missing during this build and there were over a dozen small pieces leftover. I have the other motorcycle of the same brand that goes with this, but like the other, they do share one bit of misinformation and one does better than the other.This is not 1:5 scale as described from the product page. The scale of this should 1:7 scale, not 1:5. From tire to tire, it measure a bit over 12” long. From tip of handlebar to handlebar is about 4.5” wide. To the highest point (not including the plastic window) it stands 7” tall. Also, the build appears to be slightly different from the promotional photos. Just the front tire pieces, which appears that the instructions required a longer piece, but the photos used a smaller piece that goes through the tire, but no big deal.One of the issues I found with this bike is the stand. The stand appears to have been designed with the smaller tire in mind. The front tire is actually thinner than the rear tire. With the back tire being thicker, when the stand is attached, the tire rests on the stand, which it shouldn’t. This was not an issue with the other motorcycle kit. Some modifications will have to be done, but the bike has not fallen over yet. Also, I would recommend build the stands as soon as you get to the 3rd set of bags.What this kit does better than the other is that the engine actually works as intended. I was expecting the pistons to not move because the rubber bands weren’t strong enough to move the parts in the other set, but that is not an issue here. So I am happy to have that.All in all, I really like this set. Visually, between the two, I prefer the other, but this does holds its own. Definitely recommended and I hope to see more from this brand.

This motorcycle features a cool, display-worthy design and would make a great gift for an older boy or teen who candle more advanced building. With over 800 pieces, it should keep him occupied, but the end result is rewarding and would not shame their dresser. :)
