I had an old pair of metal side tables with solar lights that went bad years ago. I can't believe these were available and affordable. We have had them outside in the South Carolina sun for a couple of months and they are still working well. The lights were a good replacement and are enough to light the pattern from the table across the patio as intended. They were a perfect size replacement, but I had to reuse the rubber band grommet from the old ones to keep them watertight and in place, so they didn't rattle in the whole. We do get rain and these seem to be as water resistant as advertised.

Got these solar light replacements to rehab two small tiki style lights that I had. They have been sitting in the garage " broken" as new batteries didn't work. Rather than throw them away, I bought these replacements. They fit perfectly! It has rained on them, hard... and they still work.

still working great. We had to replace the old ones since a lot of rain seems to make them wear out quicker...moisture always gets in there somehow. I put a little vaseline on areas where I think water could get in and that helps a litttle,but I am going to try some hydrophobic spray that repels water. the soloar top always seems to get cloudy after a while, so I have learned to spray a little alcohol on it and lightly rub/clean it off with a fine 'steel wool' pad. then wipe that off with a clean cloth and add a dab of mineral oil. this helps a lot to get it absorbing the sunlight to recharge.

I bought one set and one of the lights worked great, the other kept going off. If I flicked the bulb or tapped the panel it would work for a while then go back out again. There was a short somewhere because the thing was charging fine and bright when it was tapped. I decided to get a replacement in the hopes that the 2nd set of two would have one good one and I could send back the two bad ones. The second order had two bad devices with poor light connections. Exact same issue, it would go out and if I tapped it or flicked it, it would work for a couple of hours and then stop again. I finally just returned all 4. One out of four working is not very good odds.
