Great design!
I have been trying to downsize and only travel with carry-ons. I have been looking for a long time for a hard sided carry-on which has a zippered compartment on the one side. I finally found this Amazon (Amazing!) basics carry-on!!I really appreciate the design, with 2 mesh pockets built into the zippered pocket side. The diagonal straps on the other side allow for creative packing. As an added bonus the designers placed the zippered divider a bit lower on that side, leaving you the ability to “over-stuff” the other side, or to add a jacket or so on top of it. (Or easily accessible outerwear if needed at your destination).

Best Luggage Set I've Ever Owned!
Best Luggage Set I've Ever Owned! This luggage set has exceeded all my expectations! It’s by far the most durable and affordable set I’ve ever owned. The construction is tough, and the zippers are solid—everything feels built to last. What really impressed me is how much it can hold while still zipping up with ease. I’m constantly adding more items each time I travel, and it always manages to fit without any issues. The wheels are another highlight—smooth and sturdy, they make navigating through airports and hotels a breeze. I’ve had no problems with maneuverability, even when rushing through busy terminals.I’m genuinely impressed with how well this luggage has held up, and if it ever wears out, I won’t hesitate to buy it again. Highly recommend it for anyone looking for a reliable, durable, and affordable luggage set!

High quality suitcase
This suitcase is high quality, sturdy and comes in many colors. It's wheels on the bottom make it easy to maneuver around and are scratch resistant. The sides are thick, durable and designed perfectly. This product is worth the money.

Open with care!
I wanted a hardshell suitcase to protect fragile stuff in my checked luggage. The suitcase worked very well in that respect. Where it falls short is in the elastic X strap that is supposed to hold your stuff in the non-pocketed side of the suitcase. The strap is very loose and not adjustable. If you don't have that side stuffed to the max, when you open the suitcase, all the stuff on that side falls out. If you're not packing something heavy in the zippered side, you could put the strapped side down and avoid that problem. Otherwise, if you have to open your suitcase at the airport, you risk everything falling out and having to repack. How hard would it have been to put in 2 adjustable straps and make the suitcase much more user friendly?

Seems solid
Withstood a first airline trip, showed little scuff and wear damage. Rolled well in airport and zippers were secure and easy to open and close, compared to our other higher end luggage on same trip. For the price point an excellent choice.

Durable and nice looking unlike many others
Bought some cheap luggage and after 2 trips the airlines ripped the bags apart. Bought these back in 2022 and they are still in great shape and I travel at least 4 times a year now. Don't have to worry about anything I pack. Wheels and handles have also faired very well considering the amount of use. Would definitely buy again.

Lasted 6 years and I'll buy another
Bought this in summer 2019, used fairly often (2-4 trips/month), and I was rough on it, sometimes dragging it through the big city streets. Now it's ready to be put out of its misery and I'll buy another. Over the last few years, zipper tabs snapped, elastic got stretchy, and about a year ago the handle started sticking (I fixed it by taping over holes). Couple of the "hubcaps" came off and the zippers have opened from the wrong end a couple of times. All in all I am very happy given what I paid -- it's light, fits in the overhead, held up well to airline abuse, rolls easily. OK, I could buy a Tumi bag for $500 on sale -- but that would get me enough of these to last me 50 years, and I won't be traveling that long. Very happy, and in fact I'm getting the two-piece set this time.
