Refill

I have had my buttoneer for years and love it for repairs, replacing buttons and reinforcing buttons that I'm about to loose. For some reason, the refills are not working. It may be that I need a new Buttoneer. I will replace and try again...don't believe it is the refills!

I've had a Buttoneer for several years, the fasteners are the type that come two to a strip. It works well, I've been very happy with the results. In spite of the negative reviews, I decided to buy these refills. I was pleasantly surprised when they arrived to see that they are exactly the same as the originals. I have no reason to expect they will not work just as well.

What a piece of crap, it’s a case of if it’s not broke, don’t fix it! The original 1 needle design was great, the 2 needle design is garbage! I hate it, it’s useless! They should’ve left it alone! They call this crap, 2 needle piece the original, but it’s not! I can’t make this work! They should offer the original 1 needle unit, as an option! Don’t buy this junk!

I bought a buttoneer over 20 years ago. Found it again in my drawer, and though, I wonder if they still make the refills... it is such a handy tool to have. YAY! They do make refills! Fabulous! And they fit my original buttoneer!!!

I needed refills and I bought these. Worked with my old buttoneer. Still pretty expensive for some cheap plastic refills, but can't it anywhere else. DOn't know if the plastic is cheaper now, but some of these broke while I tried using them.

Just exactly what I wanted!!! Received on time and packaged good. Have put it to good use. My husband does the buttons!

Yes I am very satisfied with this product purchase because Amazon was the only place i could ever find the replacements/refills for my buttoneer, which had always been a very handy gadget (been around since the late 60's or early 70's.)Recently i found & bought another (my 2nd one) Buttoneer used at a thrift store for less than a dollar & it was in good shape & still worked well, but hardly had any button refills left, so i ordered these & they do the trick alright...my only complaint is that they have just one color/one style available now, whereas back in the day, the original buttoneer had a nice variety of colors & different styles available, which looked so much nicer than the cheap looking clear plastic ones used currently!

Searched & read & tried to see pictures of construction of the refills to make sure these "originals" would work in our "original" buttoneer. They don't, but we had no way of knowing that the whole insertion mechanism of the Buttoneer had changed so much and was still being called "original." I'm sure there is nothing wrong with the refills, but we can';t use them in our 30+ year old Buttoneer.
