I was given the seal of approval by the father in law that these were a blessing for kabobs. If using a persian grill these will be perfect. These are wide enough for the kabob. You will not be disappointed with these, the case works great for storage as well. They are very well made. Reminds me I need to buy another set for myself and my brother in law. Don't pass these up because they are not a name brand.

Just received these today and put them to work. They are very well made and sturdy. Nice wood handles that are securely fastened. Even the bag is good quality with Velcro to keep it closed. Great value for the price, I’m very pleased.

The stainless is of great quality and at just under 1" these are indeed perfect swords for grilling a whole variety of minced meat kabobs from many different cultures over some super hot charcoal. These were perfect for my first use of them grilling tons of roma tomatoes, bell peppers, and 4 lbs. of Lamb/Beef spiced Koobideh + 2 lbs. of my Mediterranean chicken thigh kofta recipe. The only thing I would change about the design is perhaps a better quality wooden handle that fully encloses the steel. This way nothing would get trapped down there. Also my buddy kind of burned the handles because he got the fire up past 1000 degrees with a blower. O well guess they're gonna discolor and burn from use. Either way, at over $6 per skewer I could see a lifetime of use and they're probably of a better quality than the majority you could pick up at Walmart or any Middle Eastern store in a major city. BUY without hesitation. I don't believe these are going to rust, and they truly are the best for grilling crispy but moist kabobs evenly and in a short period of time.

These skewers are the solution to keeping food from rotating while turning on the grill. They are super sturdy and easy to clean. They are very long, which is great because the handle sits outside burner heating area. The handles are made of wood, which isolates the heat when touching the handle. Even though they are long, the rectangular cross section and thickness of the blade make them very very sturdy. They do not bend. They are on the pricy side but I believe they will last a long time. Highly recommend.
