A great sized pouch of tea for the price! This has a lovely, warming flavour and it's lasting me a while - try it with a teaspoon of honey if you prefer your teas sweeter!

I have never had turmeric in anything else besides curry, so I was intrigued to try this tea.As with other teas by teaNOURISH, you get a decent size bag full of great quality leaves and spices. The serving size is just one teaspoon, so each pack should provide you with 50 delicious cups of tea.You can definitely taste the turmeric, balanced with a milder taste of tulsi, but a touch of pepper to add extra spice. This is not something I'd drink daily, but this tea worked great when I had a cold.Turmeric is known for its anti-inflammatory properties, whereas tulsi lowers your stress and blood pressure. If you have diabetes, low blood pressure, or any other conditions, I'd recommend double checking if this tea is safe for you.

This review is for TeaNOURISH Turmeric Spice Tulsi Herbal Tea, £7.99 at time of review.That packaging is a paper, resealable bag with the instructions on how to brew your tea.On opening you get an aromatic fragrance that isn't strong or off-putting. I placed 1tsp into my loose tea teapot and noticed it was a little powdery with small pieces, which unfortunately blocked the fine strainer in my teapot. I had to stir the leaves and add more water for it to pour through.A lot of sediment came through the strainer so I had to use a sieve when pouring into my cup.At first the taste was quite bitter with a slight spice from the black pepper. Unfortunately it was only black pepper I could taste and not much else. As it was bitter I tried sweetening it with honey, which helped but it was that spicy kick that put me off.If you like pepper spiced tea you will love this, if not, this might not be your cup of tea.

I have tried turmeric teas before and found the flavour too strong and bitter for me. However, this has a pleasant taste which is far more superior than others. Whilst it is more expensive than others, for the quality and the health benefits I think it's worth it.It comes in a resealable bag so that you can keep it fresher for longer.

This tea wasn't bad, but the turmeric just didn't quite cut it for me, as I found it a little too powerful in taste. I just found the turmeric to be a little overwhelming, which kind of suppressed other flavours, especially the tea flavour I look for. To make this OK, I used a very little amount to test how well I can make it, but it's still felt a bit overbearing.The packet can be sealed back up to keep the tea fresh for as long as possible once it has been opened. This is always great for tea, and alternatively, it can be transferred to an air tight container for preservation as well.No price, so I can't comment on value, but unless you like the turmeric flavour in tea, this may not be for you, just like it isn't quite the tea for me. There are other herbal teas I enjoy more, so it just comes down to flavour preference.

This tea is spicy but with some brown sugar it is not simply manageable, it is quite pleasant. I am not extremely fond of it but I will love it on a colder winter day, when your system needs that extra boost of vitality and heat. I am sure under right conditions this tea could easily help you break into sweat, so spicy it is. But to think how full it is of all the anti-inflamatory things! Just what you need on a drab winter day, with a right cookie to go with it.

A refreshing cup of tea with turmeric,tutsi and black pepper.I do take a few herbal teas so was looking forward to having the chance to try this.Turmeric in itself is a superfood so anything with turmeric I am pretty much open to try.It is a strong flavour but I can drink it and over time I'm sure I will get use to it. It is refreshing and feels like I'm putting something good for my body into me, when I am drinking this. No nasty additives just pure ingredients.
