I would say no but it depends on your taste, I’m a-bit old fashioned I like the clear stuff for a desk. Sorry not help full really.

It's not sold as being waterproof, but the material has a splash-proof texture. But it has open pockets, and the main compartment is closed with a zip, but not sealed. There are gaps around the zip at the ends. If it was kept upright, I'm sure you could put something like a damp tea-shirt inside it, to protect your handbag, but at the same time, if you filled the bag with water, I would expect it to leak. So, if you really mean waterproof, the answer is no, but if you're looking for something that can cope with damp conditions, it might be helpful. It really depends what you want to use it for.
