Very good quality tactical pen and the notepad is just awesome; Great value pack
I have 2 other tactical pens but this one is just what I was looking for:PROS:- I like the fact that the sharp point is made from one piece and there is no risk of breaking when using it- It’s big enough to be a weapon but still good for writing when needed; I use Fisher space pen refills on all my tactical pens- The cap is reversible and the pocket clip is strong; and it comes with a handy pouch that protect my pockets from the sharp point- The notepad is awesome; I’ve read before about stone paper but never thought you can write on it so easy and it’s really waterproof- It’s the perfect gift to impress someone as it comes in a nice good quality box; I bought one as a present for my friend and he was so excitedCONS:- The sharp point looks very bad-ass so might be confiscated by the TSA; I will not take it with me in the plane.- It’s a 6-inch pen….so not that small; but for me, this is the perfect size for a discrete tactical weaponWild Boar Tactical Pen and Waterproof Pocket Notepad Gift Set + Bonus Pen Case

Concept works just needs refine
Great product, well constructed, been part of my edc since Christmas. Definitely could function as a weapon of opportunity if push cane to shove. Love the discovered versatility to use cap clip as an wind and elevation adjustment tool on my EoTech EXPS3-2, clip fits perfectly into the adjustment screws. However, it is not without issue. When using as a pen it’s top heavy if the cap is on top. On multiple occasions I’ve had the pen come unscrewed at both the pen and clip end. My clip keeps getting caught on my seat belt as it rides in my left front pocket causing the clip to been outwards. This has also led to it falling into the base of my car a few times. I believe its the contour of the clip causing this. Lastly, most disappointing is the ink has run out and by no means have I used it extensively as a pen.Suggested improvements:1.) Convert to a more spring back style clip2.) Locktight the screw holding the clip down3.) Improve the screw securing features which holds the ink cartridge in place4.) Lastly, (kinda far out thought) add some sort of rubber/soft grip texture in between the groves of the ink cartridge case where your fingers rest during writing. The metal poorly contours to finger placement.

Defense Poor Don't Plan on Writing
The pen as a defense tool is all they claim it to be. I gave three stars because the pen is to also function as a writing instrument. Despite efforts made to use it as such, it just doesn't provide that function.Revised review. The pen is basically a waste of money. Not only it doesn't write, which I could be OK with, it doesn't stay in one piece. I found myself screwing it back together. I'd put it in my pocket and on removal it had unsrewed into two pieces. This happened over and over. In an emergency defense need, it would be useless. Would give zero stars if that was an option.

Wild Boar Tactical Pen is on Point!
I own several tactical pens including a Schrade. The Wild Boar pen is slightly longer, but only about 1/4 inch. The pocket clip is very nice and well designed to fit in the shirt or trouser pocket comfortably. It has a very sharp striking tip compared to other pens, it will most likely penetrate your target. It does come with a cloth sheath. It’s comfortable for writing also, if you like wider pens. The water proof emergency writing pad is a nice bonus. I intend on purchasing additional Wild Boar pens as gifts. Excellent purchase!

It will work as a secondary...
The pen writes well and feels like a feather compared to other tactical pens. The weight will take some getting used too, and I must say I prefer it be a little heavier, simply because it feels less sturdy in my rather large hand. The design is good, but I didn’t realize this didn’t have a carbide glass break tip on it. I probably would have purchased a different pen because of that single attribute. Overall it will work as a backup, if my other is lost or stolen, but I don’t know that I will use it as my EDC, maybe in a hunting bag or leave it in the truck.

It was pretty great at first...
Well it was pretty great at first but the o-ring came out of the cap and now the cap wont stay on at all. Now i cant use/carry it anymore. Its a shame because i was carrying it everday at work.

The pen is solid and of great quality. What I like the most is that the pen cap snaps onto the other end. The notebook you get is also awesome. I wanted to buy more of the pads but apparently they don't sell them separately. The only thing I did not like was that it takes some time to get used to writing with it. The grip for writing is not great. Would definitely buy another.
