I would say YES!! As long as you are not rolling it on carpet. I bought these for a giant dollhouse that I built for my daughter. The grocery store/bakery is about 6 ft wide x 5 ft high - built with plywood. I used these on the bottom so we can roll this part of the dollhouse area back and forth against the rest of the dollhouse when she's not using it. She is 5 and can easily roll this big thing...lol I like that they lock so when she's playing...it will stay in one spot. I was impressed with these little wheels - especially for the price. They work great and I would think they would work great for speakers. Hope this helps!! :)

I set up on small work bench have no problem locking with shoes to small to unlock have to unlock by hand product works well

Q: Will these hold a fairly full small chest freezer?

I think these might be a little too small for a chest freezer. You need to read the weight capacity again. An empty freezer might not weigh much but when you load it up, it's pretty heavy. I used these to build rolling plant stands for my small lemon and orange trees. They're perfect but I'd definitely go larger (with heavier wt capacity) for a freezer.
