OXO Good Grips Stainless Steel 3 qt./ 2.8L Colander

Great quality and much cleaner than a plastic colander. Handles the dishwasher well and sits up high enough to keep the water from getting into it when it is in the sink. The holes are very small so it doesn’t allow food to get through ( rice, orzo, etc.). I decided to buy another one for meat ( shelling shrimp,etc) and one for cleaning vegetables.

I am at an odd point of life where I’m in recovery and am doing things I never did routinely in the past. Cooking well is a big part of that!This new colander I bought from Amazon (actually I purchased 2 at different sizes!) has been super for my cooking. So many things I make require I drain the water from the food being cooked, and this colander does great! It is steel, not plastic, and the drain holes are so small, the water drains well but no food leaks out. Cleaning it is simple with sink-water and a brush or simple rag. Overall, I am pleased to say my cooking has gotten easier and better since I received my new colanders! I am pleased and very happy I made this purchase!

An extra colander to have in the kitchen which I find many uses for, to clean fruits, grapes, strawberries, etc. Easy to hold, easy to store, quality steel, good looks. There are other sizes available but this size is just great.

I purchased another brand first that didn't hold up and lost a handle after a few months of use. This OXO Colander is built with high standards. Thicker stainless steel and better handles. It should last a lifetime if cared for. I like the hole size, small enough to be effective on grains but large enough to quickly drain liquid. Excellent choice for someone who wants a quality colander for the kitchen without breaking the budget.

I have a collapsible colander but wanted a stainless steel one. OXO makes great products and I'm happy with this one.

I’m very happy with this so far (been a couple months now I think). No rust. Holes are a good size. Feet keep the food a good distance from whatever surface it’s resting on.

The media could not be loaded. Well made without any imperfections. Good for washing vegetables or anything needs to be drain out water. 100% approved by my head chef, my dearest wife.Thank you for dropping by.

The smaller size works great for smaller families. My colander must have been hanging around the warehouse for a long time. I could remove the label but not the glue. Rubbing the glue with cooking oil was no help.

bought as a replacement for a 'vintage' stainless steel colander which was still in perfect condition but has rather large holes the OXO colander is now our one of choice.I love everything about it.. the small holes stop things falling from it,the rubber handles are great when the contents are hot, and it is a good size.It seems sturdy and well made, and hopefully it will last years!
