Q: Does this toilet seat lift off easy for cleaning?

It has enough space between seat and actual toilet to clean around -- but if you feel you had to remove the seat to clean it, you would have to of course install it back on again (tedious) each time. I clean my about 3x a week or as needed and find that there is ample space between the seat and my toilet bowl. I love the design on my seat and love the easy down of both the seat and the lid. I really like this one!!

Q: Are the screws in the back long? My toilet is thick where the hinges are and only longer screw wit bolt will work. Ty

I just measured and my toilet is 1" thick where the bolt goes through. Underneath where the screw comes out, the remainder of the screw is at least 2 1/2"-2 3/4" long (Which would mean the screw itself is about 3 1/2-3 3/4" long. If that's not long enough, I guess you could always get longer screws. I hope this helps :)

Q: Has anyone ordered the vintage seat? is it black with distressed orangy wood? Does it look vintage or weird?

I have the blue outhouse seat, and it doesn't really look vintage or weird. The simulated finish--or lack thereof--is funny and does look pretty realistic if you stand back a few feet, but is a laminated plastic over wood so it's easy to keep clean. You'd only want this for amusement purposes to begin with, and it fulfills that easily.
