This is exactly what I needed!
This is awesome! I have a skylite in my kitchen that I absolutely hate in the summer time. We had our first heat wave and with the temps well into the 90's the kitchen and my house heat up pretty quickly. I can't reqch the skylight - it's up too high. However, I can reach the ceiling in the kitchen so I thought if I could cover the area where the skylight shines through, the kitchen wouldn't heat up so quickly. I bought some double sided tape to stick the material to the ceiling without damaging the paint and it worked. It definately blocks out the sun and helped a bit with keeping the room cooler. It is made of a plastic material - like the tablecloths you use to cover picnic tables. It's very lightweight and easy to cut. I bought the largest size and it was a tad short on one side so I just trimmed another area to piece it together. I had some gorilla tape and FYI - gorillas tape does not stick to it! Anyway, in my rush to put this up I realized I should get another one for the following year which I did! It may not be the prettiest, my kitchen may be judged, but I don't care! It's works and I love it! THANK YOU!!

Easy to install, blocks light
I live in SoFL and bought these to cover my windows in the summer to keep AC costs down. My living room is pitch black!

Kept heat out.
The material is very thin, but seems effective and did not tear. We cut it to size and placed on windows using glue dots on the westside of our house to block out the afternoon sun. The temperature in those rooms was noticeably cooler by several degrees after the installation.

Perfect solution
Moved into a new house where the previous tenants had taken the window treatments with them. (?!?) It was going to take weeks to get a blinds company to come out for a consult, come back for measurements, produce the materials, and install. I ordered the Keeswin Portable Blackout Shades as a temporary solution so i wasn't woken up at sunrise every day for all those weeks. The product was perfect. It's basically one large sheet, so you'll always have a custom fit (you have to measure and cut it out). It provided for much more coverage than i needed. There was zero light penetration through the fabric. The velcro strips made it easy to seal up the window or roll it up to let in the sun. Upon removal today (finally getting blinds!!), there was absolutely no residue left behind by the self-adhesive velcro strips. As far as delivering upon what a product's description promises, this is one of the best products i have bought on Amazon.

Ehh
It’s a good temporary solution for sure but it literally feels like it’s just a triple layer of those table covers you get for parties. And it’s not a suction cup it’s these little adhesion circles but they did hold up for a couple of weeks I’m just worried how it would hold up once it start getting over 90 degrees outside. Cutting this stuff is tough so it wasn’t perfect but it does block out the light 100% just remember this is temporary stuff and with the adhesive pads I wouldn’t trust it if it was really hot out

Keeps the sun totally out.
Works great at keeping the sun and heat out. Very easy to install especially with no tools needed. Can be a little bit difficult to cut.
