Perfect for my son’s outdoor memorial under the tree planted in his name. I got it for his birthday, and I love it! I like to buy solar powered angels and crosses and such, but sadly, they never end up lasting and need to be tossed :(. I have 3 huskies that have broken many items I’ve put under there over the years, and so I resisted the urge to buy yet another item to get sadly tossed, and went for longevity. I don’t regret it! The solar lights are beautiful, yes, but also do NOT last forever, and don’t fare as well through the yearly weather as one might think, so if you are looking for an outdoor memorial for your lost loved one or a gift for someone who has had a loss too, go with this OVER that.This stone can be stood up or laid down flat. It’s one of the few types I have had that will last a decade and more. Maybe for the rest of my life! It’s very tragic to get rid of stuff you bought for an angel out of love due to breakage or weather, or breakage from weather. This made me very happy and is a VERY solid piece!It weighs 7 lbs. so it certainly isn’t going to be affected by the weather, wind, anything! It will stay where it is placed, and in one full piece. I can’t foresee any instance in which this could get broken after placement. I personally don’t want to see anymore broken memorials… so go for longevity. People who lose loved ones really appreciate that. The saying on the stone is just perfect, too. It’s lovely, and I’m very happy to add this stone to my son’s memorial.OH, and it comes with the cutest, little rock with 2 hearts on it. My aunt recently passed away. I was unable to attend her burial because of health reasons. I plan to visit her grave and put this down once I am able to. I bought a few items that I would like to lay at her headstone but this is by far one of the most beautiful. The seller also included a small rock with two hearts on it as a gift. I plan to keep it and put it by a plant that I have at home and named after her. I don’t normally write reviews but the quality of this memorial stone is amazing. The seller also followed up with a message that was nicer than usual messages that I’ve received from Amazon sellers. I give this product a 10/10 stars and highly recommend it.

We received a memorial rock 4 years ago when Our son died. The rock is in our living room with pictures. The saying is so meaningful. We had 2 friends pass away recently& the memorial rock is just perfect, far better than flowers- that only last days.It is suchA touching memorial. Thank you.
