Acquaer UTP033-2 1/3 HP Submersible Utility Pump, Black

Yes, I'm a real person giving a real, uncompensated review! I've only used this pump once so far, maybe about an hour of total running time, but I am very impressed so far. I bought it to empty the rinse water while doing an acid wash on my empty swimming pool. I must say it performed flawlessly, easily emptying about 5 or 6 inches of water from the deep end in about 10 minutes. I walked over just to see the discharge rate at the other end of the garden hose and was pleasantly surprised by the strength of this unit. The pump was sitting at the bottom of the deep end in about 6 inches of water and the garden hose was running vertically up the side of the wall about 6 feet and then horizontally another 25 feet to the back yard, and the flow rate was still impressive, about the same as if you attached a garden hose to an outside spigot and turned it on all the way. I probably won't have to use this thing very often, but I was glad to have it when I needed it.

I needed a submersible utility pump for flushing my tankless hot water heater. Most of the online videos for this procedures called for a basic pump. This was the less expensive pump on Amazon, yet it got the job done flawlessly. Quiet, smooth operations - just connect the hose, plug it in and you are on your way to saving the $200+ cost of having a plumber flush your unit. Great value that I would certainly recommend.

Worked great. I just used it to flush and descale my tankless water heater. I has impressed with the volume of liquid it moved. The great thing is it came with the adapter to go from 1 1/4 NPT to 3/4" hose fitting, so I did not need to purchase extra adapters to complete the task. Package and shipping were great. I would recommend this item

Used it to drain my hot tub. I question the HP rating, because it makes pressure similar to a garden hose.

Great little pump. I had a leak in my pool liner. I don't know what I would have done without this thing.

At a fraction of the price of some other brands this pump does the job equally as well.
