So nice to have an art piece on the wall when we’re not watching TV. The physical set up was easy but figuring out all the features is a bit more challenging.

We added the gold frame and it really looks like a picture. We have 2 now as one was to big for the space. Decided to keep both. Ones hanging in our bedroom now.

This is by far the worst tv I’ve ever had in my life. The frame tv does not connect to the internet, even when there’s a wired connection. The internet constantly drops and freezes when connected to the one connect box and Wi-Fi is a joke. Wi-Fi is basically non-existent and never works. We have a Netgear router that’s and the fasted Xfinity Wi-Fi and both of these companies have come out and the issue isn’t them. Samsung tech is a joke and unhelpful. I wish I never spent $1400 on this tv back in May and I highly recommend that you don’t get it. Yes, it looks cool bc of the artwork but it’s seriously not worth it. It’s too expensive to be having these issues and the tech support is a joke. Stay away from Samsung products!

Over all I like the tv. The picture is great on it and the art mode is exactly what I wanted so it didn’t just look like a tv above my fire place. However I should have done a better job with reading up on it. For one it does not just plug into the wall it has an external box that it has to plug into which is quite big. I had a plug put in the fire place for plugging in a tv but once I got it I realized that was not going to happen. I was considering sending it back because the whole point of the tv was to look like a picture and wires going around the wall was not going to do it. Fortunately my husband and I figured out how to run it behind the stone from one plug to another. Definitely keep that in mind if you are going to put it on the wall and don’t want to see wire. Also this one didn’t come with a frame which I was aware of when I bought it but dang those things are expensive. I definitely feel like it needs one for the full affect so I will be buying one soon. Just some things to keep in mind before purchasing.

I like the idea of the thin TV, thus reason for purchase. But COMPLETELY DISAPPOINTED with the TV - it doesn't work right out of the box. As soon as I got it set-up, I clicked on Samsung TV plus and the TV froze on this channel. Nothing I could do fixed it. I spent over 1 hour on phone with helpdesk. Now they are trying to get a service man set-up to come fix it. Brand new --- JUNK. And Amazon is ZERO help, no return or replacement policy.

I bought this specifically for the 4 year protection plan. I broke the remote a few days after receiving it. After days trying to figure out how to submit a claim, I finally got it submitted. It was rejected immediately, because it happened within 30 days of purchase. What sense does that make? That is when you are trying to get it setup and it is most vulnerable to an accident. I’m sure they will have a reason not to cover anything. I also don’t have any acceptable proof of purchase to upload. The whole thing is designed to ensure they never cover anything. Very unhappy with this purchase.

The home screen is too cluttered.- A big banner ad takes up the top 1/3 of the screen.- I can not delete the "live TV" choice from the short app list in the middle.- I can not even move the live TV app to the end of the list so I don't accidentally open itMinus many points for not being able to chromecast directly to the TV, except for some bizarre, dual windows mirroring function. I had to buy an external device for that. That is now my primary remote control.The "Frame" experience is a useless feature for me.- I don't want to be sucked into a subscription service for artwork- I think it can display from an album on an NAS, but that is not obvious- On the plus side, at least it turns off at night, and I can long press off to stop the picture display.Update December, 2023:Two more negatives:- No component input. It is strictly HDMI, so I had to replace my DVD player.- No bluetooth output. This is a huge loss for me, because I can't listen privately. It is either the speakers or the wired in soundbar.One postivie:- It was pretty good at finding my UPnP audio server, so I can play from that. Then again, if I had a different sound bar, I could probably do that from that, and avoid the TV interface entirely.

The picture on the TV when working correctly is amazing. The interface is really easy to use as well. I received the first TV and the entire screen was shattered out of the box. I processed a return and received a second one within a week. I now have a broken pixel line running vertically down the screen. it would be a great product if there were not quality issues right out of the box
