Very pleased with materials and quality. Runs very large- had to go 2 sizes down but love that the lining zips out.

Pros: Looks to be good quality leather right out of the package. Length is good, fit good around the waist. Belt construction looks like it will hold up. Liking the pockets. All in all a good buy for the price.Cons: One snap on left leg is broken right out of the package that sucks. Bottom of legs looks like they were cut with a scissors that sucks Those two reasons makes me give a 4 star. Thanks.

I purchased these for my husband. He loves the quality but the sides of the top of the hips come up too high for him. If he lowers the waist the gap on the upper thigh is a little too low. He got the 3XL and he has a 34” inseam.

Workmanship and fit are very good. No blemishes in the leather and all metal zippers. Very nice overall.

I did have to cut the length to size, as suggested and known when purchased. Easy to do. With a box cutter, the slice was smooth and even. After one whole season, the seam where I made the cut has starting to unravel and creep upwards. This happened because cutting to lengthy cut that seam thread. I will simply re-sow and tie off the thread.Otherwise, I have had no trouble with the chaps. I've used them in hot, cold, dry and wet weather. They keep me "warmer" than having cold air strike my legs directly, and I have not experienced being too hot with them on in the summer. The part of my pants protected by the chaps stayed dry during a brief rain.The grommets are thin, and will bend, sometimes scratching my fingers/hands along the back of the belt. They easily bend back in shape, but also easily bend out and can sang skin and clothing. I wouldn't expect the heaviest duty grommets to come on a pair of chaps this cheap. But if you ware looking for value and need to save money, this has turned out to be a great pair of chaps.I have not dropped my bike nor had to scrape along the pavement in these, so I can't speak to how they will hold up when coming off the bike. But I feel much better protected with them on than only wearing jeans or dress pants to work.
