Milazer Compass, Mini Pocket Liquid Filled Button Compass for Hiking Camping Outdoor

The compass works well and is as advertised. The problem I have with this item is that it took three weeks, after shipping, to be received and there were no ‘shipping updates’ available. I was asked to rewrite my review for this product and promised a solution can be found for any problem I have had. In my opinion, there is no solution for shipping taking more than three weeks and for the advertised tracking system not functioning.

I ordered these for my boys, who became fascinated with compasses when they won one at a bowling alley game room. The compass they won didn't even work, but they were amazed that *something* was causing the needle to turn.These compasses are fully functional; they really do work, and work well. The needle consistently orients itself to face north, and does so quickly, without having to shake the compass or hold it perfectly level, as some of the cheaper compasses require. They're about the size of a quarter, and the needle floats on a pinhead.The only downside is that this is a more traditional compass, where only the needle turns. Some compasses float the entire dial so that it turns, showing the direction you're facing directly on the face. With this compass you have to turn the face so that "N" is under the red tip of the needle and then determine where you're facing based on that. Not a big deal, and in fact is probably better for kids to learn how to use this.My own reason for not giving this five stars is that the seller ships these from South Korea, and they take a long time to arrive, as in, 2-3 weeks. If you're not in a hurry, these are a fantastic deal.

Like the other reviews say this product is junk and does not work. To make matters worse it took almost a month to get delivered with zero shipping updates or tracking information. Stay away !

JUNK. Bought two and they point in different directions. These are useless, unless you want to make some earrings from them.

Not liquid filled and the needle can hang up. Needs to be level and tapped to get the best reading.

Shipping took too long but once I got it - it was what I wanted/needed,

Inaccurate and too variable.

Works well will be using it on my walking stick that 8 made from wood.
