Shimano Y40N01000 SH-A100 4 Hole Cleat nut (M5)

Was able to mount speedplay frogs on lake road shoes. Gotta do a little surgery on the lakes, lifting flap after removing insole to remove rubber spacer. Trimmed a little material around margins to get plate in. Works well.

Wasn't able to open the sole of my Shimano TR10 shoes to change the SPD-SL plate to these. The screws fit without any issues. Same as the nuts that came with my Shimano spd shoes.

A must have item for anyone with mountain bike shoes. After a while the cleat nuts inside your shoes will fail. Having a couple of these in your tool box is a life saver. If you ride in a good deal of water or in my case snow in the winter you'll want to change these out ever so often. For me once ever year or two. Just to be safe it's a good idea to inspect them for corrosion and change them out when necessary.

Thanks for next to nothing. You need to be clear that this is only one cleat. Great! Now it will be a month since I first started ordering cleats and the plates that didn't come with them and were supposed to. Could you try to be a little better citizen of the world and help people instead of making folks order again and again. This is not your first review to cite the problem you create. I bought these to replace the cheesy cast nuts that came in a pair of Gamin shoes I own. They are stamped steel and do the job perfectly.

They fit in the shoes perfectly. I got no problems with this nuts. I recommend them. you will have to buy two, so you can use both shoes in the cycling. ;)

This was too long to fit in the pocket inside my Shimano shoes.

I guess I should have read the reviews first. I ordered this and it only came with one... seriously, who does that??? You would think this stuff would come in pairs.Make sure you order QTY: 2Otherwise, it looks like a good product.
