Gia Russa Gnocchi Pto 16 Oz ( pack of 2 )

After reading the glowing reviews about this product, I thought I would try it and I have to say, my family and I were very disappointed. I was expecting restaurant-quality gnocchi and instead, it was like any other packaged gnocchi you can buy in a grocery store except it cost a lot more. I didn't like the flavor or consistency. I still think DeCecco is the best gnocchi you can buy in this genre.

OVERPOWERING SOUR TASTE from LACTIC ACID. SPOILED TASTE.I checked the expiration date, because it tasted spoiled, sour. After reading the ingredients, I realized what the problem was. It was not spoiled, but it has too much lactic acid!The only pro: is low sodium. That is actually the reason I bought these. I was looking for gnocchi that are not too salty, so I can combine it with butter/cocoa or butter/ground poppy seeds topping - delicious European sweat treat.Instead I had to use strong mushroom sauce and grated asiago cheese to try to cover the spoiled flavor. But it still tasted TERRIBLE, SPOILED, SOUR. Will not buy again!

We tried it for the first time with chicken and gravy. This product was off the hook.

Seemed like a good value. Did get two. Doesn't tell you that you get 1 regular and1 mini gnocchi. Not expired yet, (per printed date on pkg), but sure did have a foul taste. Ruined a good meal. Wasted money on other ingredients.

Delicious good quality product. Superior in taste and texture to the other brands I have tried over the years.

Light and fluffy, some of the best gnocchi I've had outside of Italy!

Sooo good! I cook it as per the directions and then mix it with alfredo sauce, parm cheese and chopped chicken and bake it, so delicious! Only reason i didnt give 5 stars is because it $15 on here and less than $3 at walmart. Really??
