I had moved into a new house and lined my pantry shelves. Unfortunately, the plastic smell from the lining material never went away. I did not really want to remove all the liners (10 large shelves) so decided to give these a try. I did put them all in the closet AND two days later NO SMELL. Really nothing else to say!

I believe it takes a while to actually make a difference, but I can smell it so. Know it’s working, and the cooking odors disappear faster sine I hung them up, in every room.So far, a good purchase.

I absolutely love this product. I needed something to help eliminate a moldy smell that accumulated inside of my vehicle. I placed the product in my vehicle on Friday afternoon and by Saturday the smell was virtually gone for just that short amount of time. The best thing about it is that I can use the other four(5 pk purchase)for any other areas that need odor absorption and elimination. Great product and will definitely recommend this to others.

Charcoal can absorb odors, but to do that, air has to pass through it. Hanging a bag full of charcoal does nothing; these aren't a vacuum that sucks up all the air around them. Odors just pass right by it, and it does nothing to eliminate or reduce them. If you held this firmly over your nose and mouth and breathed through it, it might help, but suspending it in a room is no more effective than hanging a dust mask on a wall and expecting not to breathe in dust.

Relieve you home of pet odors! Never walk into your apartment and smell your cat or dog again! These things are great! You don’t have to hide them because the colorful sacks are attractive. Take them out of the package and place them wherever! Great idea!

We have a very elderly dog who has a habit of having "accidents" in my husband's carpeted office. Add on to that his office tends to house some of his hunting/outdoor gear for when he's not working and you have a wonderful weird amass of odors. I got these little satchels on a whim expecting nothing and thankfully I was so wrong! I put 3 into his office and we all went to bed, in the morning there was nothing, no odor, no slap-you-in-the-face stink, just clear air. I will be buying these for other parts of our home (sports bags, closets, basement), these things are amazing!!!!

The seller asks for a review three days after I received the product. Well, they arrived safely and appear to be exactly what was advertised. Do they eliminate odors? Don't know yet, it takes a bit of time to determine that answer.
