Lasted me almost 2 years and a 9 mo deployment
I like that the strap is lightweight and stretchy, definitely adds to the comfort. I wore the strap on the inside of my wrist, which I do think prolonged the life. Strap is very durable, once it begins to degrade, you need a new one. Easy install. I wore this to sleep, in the snow, rain, mud you name it, very easy to clean. I had to adjust it a little bit over the two years because it loosened and it didn’t take away from the functionality. Looks stylish.

Just ordered more
Ordered one to try it out. Have used a number of the silicone/rubber bands and have found that they irritate my skin. These bands are super comfortable and highly adjustable since it’s hook/loop. The material does a better job, IMO, with high activity/sweat or when wet. Was a little odd putting it on the watch at first and I felt like an idiot and then thought I got a bad band. lol. Then actually looked at the image and figured it out (the initial pass into the watch loops in on you vs outwardly facing). As far as time goes, I have been using it for about 3 months so far and it’s still holding strong and not showing any wear really. We’ll see how it continues to hold up. However, as the title states, I just ordered gray and black as this is now my go to band for my Fenix 7X Solar.

Great!
this is actually so much better than the band that comes with the watch, and better even than I was expecting. The strap is soft and comfortable on the skin and keeps the watch in place better than the original even without being particularly tight. The band is slightly elastic, I don't think I saw that mentioned in any of the product descriptions, but it's a welcome feature and increases comfort. The strap dries quickly when wet. I would like if the strap was about 20mm longer to make it easier to take the watch off and put back on, but I have bigger hands

Comfortable. Perfect fit. Wet, Longevity?
SummaryThis is a decent watch band so far. It's comfortable and will likely fit most wrist circumferences. It's easy to install, and for most watches will be easy on / easy off the wrist-- but I have a watch that is not listed as compatible (see Details section.) Comfort-wise, the material is soft and there is a bit of elasticity to it. However this could be a double edged sword when it comes to band longevity. As another reviewer mentioned, when wet the velcro doesn't stick as well.DetailsWatch: Garmin Instinct 2X Tactical SolarWrist size: Under max supported, I'd say smallMain concern: Comfort, can wear to bed. Doesn't get caught on my wrist rest while workingSo I got this because I type a lot for my job, and the stock silicone band is the usual type with a clasp. It would always get caught on my wrist rest, so I'd end up unconsciously taking it off. I need my watch on for a few reasons (mostly pulseoximiter due to athsma, reminders for my job), but I'd end up losing it's benefits during my 8 ~ 10 hour shift. Additionally, I'd take the watch off in my sleep. I tried wearing the band looser, and that alleviated the bedtime issue, but my readings were off. With that in mind, I searched and settled on this band. It's my first 3rd party watch band.*Comfort*So far so good. I haven't had it for that long, but immediately I noticed no itching feeling...so that's good. It's very comfortable and breathable.*Installation*Installing the band was easy...after I realized I gambled with it being compatible and purchased QuickFit adapters (26mm QuickFit Adapter for Watch Band Compatible with Garmin Fenix...), like another reviewer did. I could have probably made it work without them, but there would have still been too much friction (literally) for on / off the wrist. The band works very well with the QuickFist adapters. If you notice the band it a tinybit too wide for the adapters, I recommend getting all setup (band, adapters, watch); then hopping in a hot shower and doing on / off a few times. This'll break things in a bit.(I think another reviewer mentioned places where the band didn't fold well if your wrist isn't a certain size...will fix that too)*Wet*I'm sure this band will dry well when wet...in the summer...but it does hold a bit of moisture. I towel dried the band by covering my hand with the towel and pinching along the band. Helps a bit. Currently wearing the band wet, and it's not so bad. I've noticed that it's dried a bit already in the last 10 minutes...but I take max hot showers. The Velcro does lose a bit of stick when wet, probably due to a combo of less friction, and if hot water, loosening of the hooks / stretching of the eyes. Re-apllying the Velcro when wet did seem to help...a little. YMMV*Longevity*The elastic will eventually wear out, bit it should still be wearable (based on stretch being limited by nylon weave), but may lose comfort as afforded by elasticity. I don't have a problem with that based on my reasons for purchasing, and that will likely be well down the road. It does not seem to be a band meant to take a beating, so don't give it one. I'm sure it can withstand most usage, but scraping in rocks, or anything tough like that is going to wear it out fast.Overall, this band currently meets my needs (comfortable, no clasp catching on things), but I'll probably purchase another band for more intense activies. Since I had to pair this band with QuickFit adapters, that seems like an ideal solution for multi activity usage. Time will tell about how long it lasts, and how it performs when wet, but I'm optimistic

Comfortable, breathable, light
I haven't tried the Garmin brand nylon bands but this one does the trick for me. The weight difference compared to the silicone bands is significant and can be felt. I think they make a difference in comfort and they are affordable.I used the same strap on my previous watch and it didn't show any signs of wear after one year of use. I'm pretty sure this will be just as durable.

Similar but better than same brand neoprene bands
I’ve had three Abanen neoprene (one piece, velcro on each end) bands for a couple of years. When I got them, they were the best (of these types—without buckles or metal I could find for my Garmin Fenix 7X Sapphire Solar. Excellent bands. Only problem is the velcro ends wore out rather quickly, as did the actual ends (both ends) of the band, where the velcro was attached. These nylon bands, though—I’m hoping they far exceed the neoprene version—seem to have more secure velcro, and I appreciate the little plastic end to prevent wear/fraying. My biggest reason for purchasing these over the neoprene version is that they (neoprene) stay wet for a long time, while these nylon bands are supposed to be quick dry.The band is a little itchy on the inside (where one end of the band is looped through and lays against the wrist), but it’s otherwise very comfortable. I’m hoping it’s durable and lasts a long time. I’ve seen similar bands on Amazon for a bit cheaper, which is why I gave only 4 stars for value for the money.AMENDED: After wearing this band now for a little while, I’m upgrading my review (yes, the 4 stars for value), to a five. FIVE stars all the way around. And the initial itching from the tag end of the band inside the watch? No longer an issue. I really, REALLY like and appreciate this band. It’s exactly what I’ve been looking for—since I started with my Garmin Fenix 3 years ago!

Good value
Good value. Silicon straps always bother my wrist. This one is easy and comfortable. I added aftermarket quick attach adapters and love this combo. Works great without adapters too! Easy to put on and off the watch and adapt band for wrist size.

Decent third party nylon band, alternate colors are nice!
The fit on my Epix Pro Gen 2 51mm is decent but the strap is a little shorter and thinner than the original Garmin ultrafit nylon band. The velcro pads are larger too.Overall fit on the wrist is decent but not as stable as the Garmin.

Perfect product at a right price
I ordered this strap two years ago, and it was due for a refresh. After reading some of the recent reviews, I was worried that I wouldn't get the exact same product. I decided to order one anyway, and I am glad I did. The one I received is exactly the same as the one from two years ago: same length, Velcros on opposite sides and plastic tab on one end.One thing I made sure of was to order it from Abanen themselves, as there were multiple resellers for the same item. All in all, this is a great strap at the right price. I find it much more comfortable than the silicone ones. Also, it doesn't take too long to dry. I would like it even more if they could make it in more colors. Abanen: how about a dark grey?
