I was coming to see if there was a way to turn down the volume on this timer, and was caught very off guard over the fact that many people were complaining about it being too quiet. They must have fixed something over the past month, because these timers are definitely loud enough to hear from the next room over (or two rooms). The buttons are easy to push and display is perfectly clear. So far, so good!

Fair, accurate timer visually. Only problem, it is NOT loud enough. If you're more than 6 feet away you will barely hear it. Used this in a quiet gym & it was worthless to me. Can't imagine using this in a kitchen where timing is critical for food prep unless one sits & watches the timer countdown.

I bought 2 of these timers and the first thing I noticed when I tried to stick them to the metal hood over my stove was the magnets wouldn't hold them. They would slide down the face of the hood. They would stay on the angled part on top of the hood but that's kind of useless as I'd have to pull them off just to check the remaining time.

It was easy to use, large numbers, magnet on the back so I attached it to my espresso machine to time the cups for the perfect grind and tamp. Bonus that it's the same color, so looks like it is part of the machine itself. To reset, just press the left and middle buttons at the same time.

Timing the tea, eggs, hair color, lots of things that need to be timed. And with this loud beep you can actually leave the room and still hear it!

I bought these to replace a 5-min timer I use for my tea every morning. I love that I can have one that stays set to 5 min and all I do is push the start button. I use the second one for cooking when I need multiple timers. They sit snuggly out of the way on my range hood. The reason I only gave it 4 stars is that for some reason sometimes the sound is very low. Then the next time, it's fine.

Update: Quick response from seller. They've acknowledged the problem with the magnet and offered a full refund. They're working on to improve the magnet.Works great on the stand and is very nice and fits well in the kitchen. If you need to place it on the fridge however, the magnet might not be strong enough on textured finish found on many new appliances.

This is a great kitchen timer. Decently loud beeper, easy touch buttons, simple instructions included. Unlike the more expensive version, the buttons DO beep when advancing the timer. All in all, I love this and will be scooping a second for my workshop.

I purchased this timer June 2022. There are two. The first one I used shortly after arrival and within days the digital clock started to show only part of the time. The timer would show maybe half of the image needed to see how much time is left making the image unreadable. Then the next clock worked ok for a couple of weeks but then became inoperable. I am disappointed. I am not one to comment usually but this is unfortunately the worst Amazon purchase I have made.

The timer is ok. I found the volume audible but could be louder. The magnet on the back is just nearly powerful enough to hold it in place. Any little vibration and it has a tendency to slide off, When I use it with my BBQ every time I close the lid it's enough vibration to have it slide down my control panel. It definitely needs a better magnet.

This is a replacement for the same item. Previous one gave up working at a rather inconvenient time but I'd had it for at least 4 years so can't complain.
